Hooking up the Wii to the net - Click HERE for Original Thread

RSN CRX
I am wondering if anyone here has managed to get their wii connected to the net. Are there any little tricks to get it right? I keep on getting error messages. And what the hell are those wi-fi conectors they sell at the store (what do those do)?

Thanks

Kami
What is the error you're getting?

If you have a wireless router, make sure it is configured to use 802.11b (many 802.11g routers by default will not accept the slower protocol so you will need to change this), enter your encryption key, and it should connect right away. If it still doesn't work, we'll need to know what the errors are that you're getting.

The wifi connectors they sell in stores are to connect the Wii to your network through your computer if you don't have a wireless router.

Thanks for the advise I will give it a shot and let you know how it goes.
