....uhhh..... The stock turbo is twin entry....

bluciv93
oh sorry boys :smack: i just got my deuce so i dont know much about it yet but what would you guys suggest the first thing i do other then an intake and a full exhaust?

boost controller.

lilredEG
underbody neon.

One of the first things I would do on a deuce is get some springs or coilovers.. I hated the stock suspension on my car. But yeah like stealth said, a boost controller is one of the best things you can do for performance but I wouldn't boost any higher than fifteen pounds, especially without an air/fuel gauge.

Air Fuel Gauge, don't really mean shit on our cars.

Basically when you go WOT, it will show you are running rich. Its just a light show.

But yea, I totally forgot, and have to agree with you; lowering the car is the best thing you can do first, and perhaps some rims.

Yea, but he didn't say wideband...

Also why would you need one on a stock setup?

SilviaDrifter
true true......but if u are pushing insane amounts of boost it can be helpful....i knwo i wish i would have got a wideband from teh start

Lol.

lilredEG
Yeah lol I meant wide band.. I know narrow band a/f gauges are pretty useless.. I think its always a good idea to know what your air/fuel looks like when you are running higher than stock boost. You never know.. you could be running an 18/1 like chad was in the soarer just by changing his plugs. Imagine if he was running higher boost levels.:drama:

bluciv93
ive just finished putting in my suspension this week and ive already got rims and ive also ordered a bunch of other stuff but i just didnt know where to start on engine

ive gotta say this is the most action ive seen on these threads in a while good job boys keep it up

stealth
Downpipe, Exhaust, and Boost Controller would be good next.

Chad was more then just plugs. I'm sure he can say everything he had to do if he wants

lilredEG
yeah I know it wasnt just plugs. The point is that you never really know whats going on there unless you have dyno'd at a particular boost level or you have some way of measuring your a/f ratio on the street.
