So today i decided that until i get rims for my car, the hubcaps are commin off!
once finished that, i checked the air filter and oil levels.
the air filter was fine and i reinstalled it. the oil was quite low, i think i have a leak somewhere, so i added a few liter's.
an hour later i drove from devon to leduc (20 min) no problem. started my car after letting it sit for 45 min while in walmart and of a sudden the check engine light came on and will not go away.
any ideas as so what i could have done or how to find out? |

go to a mechanic and they'll run a scan...
or if you or someone you know has a scanner you can do that..
there are other ways aswell...
i know on neons you turn the key forward 3 three times and then the cel blinks a code to you
good luck:thumbup: |

| its probably just running rich... disconnect your battery for a minute, reconnect it. see if it happens again? |

ok so im a retard. apparently there is a difference between check engine and maintenance required. i've never had a car with that before.
i got it all straightened out, just needed an oil change and to reset the maintenance light. thanks for that link above tho. its helpful |
