Remote starter failure - Click HERE for Original Thread

Alex_von_Varna
The remote starter ("Ultra" model) stopped working after an attempt to start the car in a very cold morning without heater plugged. The car tried to start, but the battery went down and it did not. After that the remote control stopped working, no matter that I recharged the battery. The small ligth on the antenna (just above the front mirror on the windshield), which is normally periodically blinking, is now dead. ... Any advice? Is there a replaceable battery in the antenna? ... Thanks!

Just a guess, but you might need to reprogram the remote starter unit.

Possibly blew a fuse on the power wire for the RS. I would check those first and if one is blow you might need to reprogram after replacing the fuse.

sparkycivic
might have blown the fuse under the dash

shawley
fuse, or need to reprogram the remote
