I always thought lancer owners were a bit 'special', this thread proves it. lol

And for the record, I hope you sell your car and take the bus because by the sounds of your driving, it is only a matter of time until you do get into an accident.

Hmmm. Take responsibility for your own actions.

Neat concept, isn't it?

FYI, most insurance companies have clauses in them that you can't lend your vehicle to anyone under 25. I don't know if you're that young, but I would venture a guess that I was correct.

This thread should be locked, what a fucking waste of space.

Sorry to hear that Terry. To be honest if i was in your situation i wouldn't bother driving and ETS it for awhile.

You pay for your actions so tough it out either pay or take the BUS. I know you live pretty far away.

Another suggestion is maybe sell the car save up and buy a bettr car with your savings? If you're going this route i will help out and even take some parts off you

I'm not defending the tickets that he got, that's another issue, but are 9 tickets in 3 years really that hard to imagine. 3 tickets per year is mind blowing and makes someone a very bad person? I personally have been driving for 7 years and only this past summer I got 4 ticket within one month, 2 of which were just BS tint and exhaust tickets. So am I a bad person set out to kill someone with my car too.:dunno:

The point is, don't judge someone unless you know someone first.
Good luck Terry.

If you look back abit to page three, I asked the question first:

It's the obvious question, but it has escaped everyone, so I'll ask.

Anyone care to clarify what those 9 tickets were?.

I'm sure I could think of atleast 10 different things off the top of my head that are worse than the news you got. Just me.

Not once was I given a straight answer, even ignored, both of which I really don't like.

About the closest thing I got to an answer that I can determine?

-9 tickets that are BS
-most of them (?) are speeding for doing 20-30 over
-you believe that 9 tickets in 3 years should NOT be percieved as bad/poor driving habits.

9 tickets in 3 years is bad. Understand that, this can and most likely will not be recieved as "good" by anyone. So something must change to make sure you have a future in driving a vehicle.

Yes, I have had a ticket, my last one and it was over 18 years ago.

Either one of you don't need to hear anymore preachy crap, especially from me, but trying to defending 9 tickets in 3 years is like sending a one-legged man into an asskicking contest... Its ridiculous.

I'd reccommend making a carpool deal with someone you know, perhaps a co-worker or something. It at the very least, solves your transportation problem to and from work.

You're still trying to prove something to me, because I thought this was over with? No point of arguing something that isn't going to happen.

You can quote all you want, but at the end people will go where they will still get good coverage but for less money. If everyone loved paying high insurance premiums then nothing would have happened a couple years ago to stop insurance companies charging retarted premiums. Now we get same thing for a lot less. But I guess this was all done because the insurance companies got tired of taking all of our money and decided to give us a break

I wasn't defending or saying that it's normal, because it's not otherwise the insurance company wouldn't care. I was just saying that it can happen to someone but it doesn't mean that the person should be called names or judge based on that.

Your last comment about the carpool and stuff is the kind of info/options that we can give Terry instead of judging and name calling.

Thanks for your very "neat concept" But he didn't post this thread asking for your money to help him pay for his insurance, did he?

Oh did you run out of other material to talk about, now it's the Lancer owners you want to talk about. You're absurd, this only shows that you're the only "special" one here.

Go_Lancer_Go
ya im sorry to say but the maturity from some these people here is shocking....

like i dunno how many threads ive posted stating the same thing

#1 > I KNOW ITS MY FAULT AND I KNOW ITS NOT NEWS LIKE SOMEONE DYING BUT THAT IS WHY ITS IN THE AUTO CHAT NOT THE OTHER ONE!

#2 > I STATED HOW THIS POST IS TO GIVE ME N E ADVICE AND LET PPL KNOW WHO ARE IN SIMILAR SITUATION OR APPROACHING ONE TO HOW THIS INSURANCE STRUCTURE WORK, LEARN FROM OTHER PPL'S LESSONS.

but u guys CONTINUALLY have to drop in and throw ur 2 cents about how i should be off the road and how im a menace to the road b/c my drivers abstract says this and blah blah blah

how its gotten to the point where someone has the nerve to start generalizing lancers as crazy drivers! Ok lets start stereo typing ppl!

u guys need to read then post......

btw ppl like fatbastard, should not talk shit if u even go 1km over the speed limit, u make sound like ur a fuckin angel on the road.

GOT BOOST
Hi Everyone,

OK. Time out! Everyone untie their panties from the big knot.

There is no needs to pounce on someone who has admitted they made a huge mistake(s) in their first post.

Go lancer Go is looking for advice. This advice can come in handy to a few of you I am sure, and for a few of you who are close to the limit.

I am not sure about the rest of you, but I for one do not drive like an angel and obey every law posted on the road at all times. I am sure the rest of you do too. I am sure we have all opened up the throttle at some point and time and have almost been caught. Some of us are caught more than others.

I know of a few people that have a heavy foot, they have a few tickets and I do not consider them to be bad drivers.

This thread is way off topic. Lets put it back on topic and extinguish the flames.

Mike

I never said I was an angel. I've had 3 moving violations in my ~16 years driving, none in the past 8 years.

You fucked up, now your looking at ways around it. Pay the price, or take the bus. It's nobody else's fault other than your own.

What else needs to be said?

rythex
I would just drive without insurance!

Nothing. To the OP - try to rephrase your question so you don't get lynched next time.
