The Story:
I ordered some parts back in august 06 form a guy in an automotive forum. I sent the money (only about $300usd) to what seemed to be a repectable member (1000's of posts, some selling with no negative responses). Months passed and the person started procrastinating claiming things from not being able to get the parts off the car to family members dieing and having heart attacks. In December he was claiming half the parts got lost or broken, so I pretty much said give me the parts and half my money back or just give me all my money back. He told me he was gonna send me my money in full and send a boost gauge for my troubles... I thought "well, at least its something, probably a shitty gauge w/e"... I got the box yesterday.
The Problem:
The box has a boost gauge but no money order or anything. After talking with him he claims that the envelope with the money order was still in his outbox and never moved since then... with that it's aparent he's really not caring or he empties his outbox every other month (keep in mind this was well before christmas). So I've come to the conclusion that he has no intention of giving me what mine.
The Question:
Since he's tryin to keep my money, what can I do to get it back? Please keep the "its hopeless, you're fucked" posts to a minimum |

Unfortunately I don't think there is a whole lot that can be done. Even using Paypal, etc can cause problems when not receiving you items.
You could try and contact the mods of that forum and see if you can get more info on this guy. Thats all I can think of right now.
Good luck,

The police wouldn't do anything for him. My roomates car got stolen and they didn't give a shit, let alone some dispute over the internet for $300.
