i've never ordered anything myself from them
but i've been there a few times, the owner is a great guy, and i've picked up 2 motors for friends a b16 and a sr20,
and they both are awesome condtion motors and work mint,
highley recomended!!

I was less than impressed with my own personal experience, but maybe it was just an isolated inccident since everyone else has had a good experience.
Wasnt anything to serious.
But I wont use them or recommend them now, talk to speedtech or even kevin form E-Z, he can get you a jdm motor, and then if you have problems with it, it;s not like you have to go back and forth to calgary for reslove. |

Doesn't speedtech get their motors from JDM Source?
Atleast I believe they used to.
When I was looking for an engine, JDM source was way cheaper than SpeedTech. |

speedtech does not buy there motors from jdmsource. jdmsource pulls their own motors from a private stock in japan. Speedtech also has there own private stock.
After seeing and installing an autodream motor firsthand, they deffinately do not buy motors from jdmsource either.
jdmsource always has the highest quality motors and dealing with them is always smooth. |

rds celica, how many times have you dealt with them? Like as in how many engines have you bought from them?
actually, fuck it, just keep buying shit from them. My beef with jdm source is they claim that all the motors are in A1 shape, which is bull shit. But so does everyone else, and considering they install so many b series, they sure have no fuckin clue as to what mounts fit what years... same goes for their knowledge with harnesses. |

close to 20... alot of toyotas with a couple nissans and hondas thrown in the mix. lets be honest, no one is gonna claim they sell bunk shit... ive seen other places cleaned up and degreased motors look worse than jdm's "dirty" ones but I also know jdm does get some bunk ones once in awhile. I have just yet to see that firsthand only heard about it from shohaib himself.
I didnt know they still swap motors there... i didnt think they had the time anymore? |
