| Whats happenin my name is Rayme and I am with the DROPSICLES. I was talkin to the guy who is the president of the aviation museum on 118. He said he is setting up Saturdays at the museum to be a hang out for custom vehicles. If I get any more info I will pass it along. He mentioned he is going to start it the first weekend after the May long weekend. |

Yeah, Drop trucks are cool :)
I've seen another location that is a possible hangout too...
There is a Petrol Canada in Clareview that has a similar layout as the now defunct Soda Jerks, during the week days I see lots of old school hot rods filling the entire parking lot. It's like 137thave and Fort Road or something...
A good possible hang out... |

Every Thursday the old school guys get together there at the Petro Canada for the night - "Car Buffs of Edmonton" I think they are called.
They've even had car shows there, and parked cars on the grass median behind the Petro Canada. |

Am I the only one who is sick of BPs? I hate going there and seeing an ass load of old junky mullet musclecars, some crappy ass trucks(diesels,4x4, etc), and those wolf pack mustangs. I also don't like those loosers who drive through real slow and try to look tough by staring at everyone who looks at their car.
I would love to see the airport museum parking lot as a hangout. Some place where like minded people could hang out without having to sift through the riff raff.
And when I refer to "crappy ass trucks" I don't mean dropsicles. Lowrider trucks are cool. |

| my brother is probably the best person I know for dropping trucks... he's installed 2 kits and has also completely rebuilt a whole frame for his friends mazda with bags... you may have seen him cruise around before... he drives a 97 s-10, its purple, bagged and 18's rims.. he also does custom interiors, stereo installations, pretty much anything you want... oh yeah and he won best domestic truck and youngest enthusiest at last years dropsicles competition.. |
