So these are the OEM 99' tails and center? Sweet deal, is that a canadian price and is that shipped? or do we pick them up from someplace?

Yep, it's for the OEM tail lights and center piece.

The price is Canadian and is for pickup in Edmonton. Shipping elsewhere would be extra.

and they come with everything like bulbs, and sealent and all that stuff?:eek: :thumbup:

sealant will come with J-spec tails (a couple rolls of goop) , you need to swap over your existing bulbs to the new J-specs. No big deal, and your dash lights won't report a fault.

I advise shipping by post office for US buyers, as they have the lowest brokerage rates of anyone, and I have shipped many things (sway bars, turbos, etc) and they have always arrived intact. Shipping by courier (Fedex, UPS, DHL or Purolator) is costly and they ding the recipient big time for fees. And they are no faster, either.

Not a bad idea for a club tech day, we could get together and do a whole whack of J-spec tail installs.

I've installed mine twice (once again for the repaint)
and helped MixManMash install his. Not too hard to do, but a bit messy with removing the old butyl rubber, WD-40 and many shop rags work well for this. Change over the bulbs, install with new butyl, and carefully tighten everything back up.

I'll bring this up at the Thursday meeting.

I mean, if you're ordering say ~ 20 left & rights and ~21 center panels, for example, that shouldn't matter right? I'd think you'd still get a sweet deal on center panels even if there was one oddball extra. (even if someone orders all three together as a "set", they are still three distinct part numbers and come in three separate boxes).

In order to send payment with an EMT you have to bank at one of these banks:
* BMO Bank of Montreal
* CIBC
* RBC Royal Bank
* Scotiabank
* TD Canada Trust

You just log on and there will be a page to send an EMT. You simply put my email in, a password, and the amount to send. You let me know the password and then I can deposit the payment once it reaches my email. :) If you need anymore help just let me know.

For the guys who are having their sets shipped - I'm just waiting on a couple more addresses and I will then calculate the shipping costs and send out the totals due. :)

are you sure about that? most of those people on that list are having the lights shipped out to them, I'm guessing half in other parts in Canada, and some in the US. 4 of the 7 that are picking up have USDM/CaDM cars and there maybe more in the list that have US/Ca cars that are picking up locally.

Also, I've received the payments for the first seven sets of lights and will be ordering those tomorrow morning. :) I'm still waiting to hear back about the ETA for the rest of the lights!
