Hey guys i was just wondering if anyone knows a good tailor to take a couple dress shirts and dress pants to. Ive lost some weight and want to get them refitted.
Oh yeah, and this is besides just taking it to the tailors at Singer/Rosen |

John the Tailor in City Center. Little old Italian guy and his wife run the shop, they fit me the best (average build... 6', 170).
Took me forever to find a tailor that could actually fit a suit to a non-fat guy. |

I'm gonna miss my tailor from Winnipeg. I recommended him to a buddy who had the tuxes for his wedding party custom made by him. He eyeballed them once, took 10 minutes to measure 8 guys, a week later they went in for a fitting, and a grand total of 2 jackets needed to be altered (both collar rolls) and the pants hemmed, that was it. The guy was a genious. Another old italian guy who was the military tailor out at P2. Man that guy was great.
I'll have to give John a shot when I need some stuff. Does he do custom dress shirts too? how about ready-made suits? Does he have stuff he sells off the rack or is everything custom? |

Yep, he makes custom dress shirts and suits. I don't think he's got anything ready-made... at least I've never seen anything on the racks when I've been in there. I was just there getting pants hemmed yesterday though, and they've got a special on custom wool suits starting at $775. I'm gonna wander over there this afternoon and check out the materials. |
