Hey guys
I am currently a third year engineering co-op student, and in September I will be at the school for 4 months, and I am trying to find housing.
I COULD afford a single bedroom apartment if I want, but I would rather stay on campus since it's easy to get to class, plus it should be cheaper.
Can anyone tell me how much rent is in HUB mall every month? Same with Shaeffer and East Campus Village.
And being a fourth-year student, will I most likely get rejected for staying in Shaeffer?
Thanks guys |

Been through the same situation as yourself, so I did a little digging around the UofA housing website, and found this file with all the rates for this year, check this page out : Res Rates
Also, for some general info about each one, and what student types they take, check this out: Info
And I'm not 100% sure, but I think they will give 3rd years priority over yourself for a place in Schaeffer Hall. |

Actually I am gonna be at the U of A here next year from September til December as I need to finish 1 more semester to get my degree. I'll send you a message as my plan was to just get a single place for the 4 months.
I currently live in Sir John Franklin which is really close to campus. Was hoping to get a place for next year in the building again. Rent is about a grand a month for a 2 bdrm. |
