So, if you wanted to be an astronaut, you'd have undergo an intense battery of physical and psychological evaluations. I personally have always said psychology was bunk, even after taking a few University courses in the subject I was unconvinced there was any "science" or insight occuring at all. Just mumbo jumbo. Now either NASA failed psychology, or I was right. In any case, make sure you aren't drinking when you read this, because I laughed so hard I shot water out my nose.

| Haha diapers... awesome. Driving across the country in a diaper a few years after passing a psych test doesn't seem like enough to swear off an entire field of research, but the "tests" and a lot of the practices are pretty bunk. |

I decided psych was BS back in HS, long before this ever happened. THis is just proof that I'm right. |

I think it's possible you don't know enough about the field to be in a position to call it BS :) Taking this story as proof of anything just means you're not being objective.

So mental illness is the same thing as psychology now? I must've missed the memo. What I doubt is whether or not we can predict and classify human behaviours through a simple series of tests, or gain insight and solve problems using various methodologies.
Yes, it's possible I don't know enough about it. I have my opinion nonetheless. The courses I did take in it were filled with psychobabble that I didn't buy and which in my opinion involved no proof or knowledge of anything. People would walk around after class saying things like "I had no idea that's why I engaged in such self-destructive behaviour", and I'd laugh my ass off.
EDIT: For the record this thread was made so everyone could have a chuckle at a grown woman with a respectable job wearing diapers to travel across half the country to kidnap her lover's other lover. The comments on psychology were meant as a humorous anecdote. Apparently some people have take it a little more serious than should be any comments about people wearing diapers so they don't have to stop driving to pee. |

See, top NASA scientist or not, she's still just a bizatch at the mercy of hormones and stupidity. I'm so glad I'm not a chick.
And here's my psychological advice for other chicks like her:
Stop being a psycho bitch! Geeez! |

| I blame Gulf War Syndrome. USAF used agent orange or something on them in space to see the effects. One of which is driving cross country in diapers. She should sue he government for ruining her well being. |
