Its light weight is only a benefit when it hits something completely stationary because it decreases the inertia behind the impact... When you hit an SUV coming towards you, it will punt you like a football and your organs will be liquified.
One physics prof went on a rant about this to us because he got in an argument with a salesman at the dealership over it lol. I can just imagine how lame it was. |
