I want to take a course to run trackhoe, to improve my skills and get certified in case some sites require it. But i have no idea where a course like this is available in edmonton.

Give the Heavy Equipment department at NAIT a call. I'm not sure if they offer a course like that in Edmonton, but they'd be the best people to point you in the right direction as to where to go.

i have heard only place in alberta to take a course like this is at keyano college in fort mcmurray i think your best bet would be to call a bunch of excavating companys and see if they would be willing to hire you on as a labour and slowly train you to become an operator unless your willing to go to school in fort mac then hit up keyano
