I have discussed this post with the TrevorK and he has approved it for this forum..
Hello everyone,
Do you know what your system needs everyday? Do you feel tired after lunch? Do you fight to keep going on every days. Is the morning the worst time of your day? Do you eat well? Do you eat too much? Are you overweight? Do you feel good about yourself? Do you feel healthy? Do you find that our living time on this earth is too short and that we are definitely dying too slow? Do you? Do you? There are so many questions unanswered! Information that people needs to know. I’m going to answer many of them.
But first…
Let me introduce myself;
My name is Steve Bouchard and I have a busy life with my family and my two dogs. I’m working eight hours a day. I’m doing a lot of physical training and I’m trying to eat wise from what we can find in our grocery stores. I’m not different than anybody else. My schedule looks full but I still manage to find some spare time to help people. Helping them to eat and train wisely. Be able to have a healthy lifestyle, or should I say a balanced lifestyle, in this stressing society style that we’re in. Helping them to reach their goal. Goals like being a better hockey player, become a great runner, gaining weight, loosing weight, stamina, to have a better performance at work, to feel healthy and energic, etc. All the information is there. Scientifics have done so many studies this past century but the information isn’t passed on.
I spent the last five years attending courses, reading studies and helping people realize how important their health is. Explaining what they’re doing to their body by not eating healthy. We are decreasing our life expectancy. Some don’t really care and that’s alright until suddenly they get sick. After that event, they want to change. It’s never too late.
For example, a star that has a lot of money in his bank account doesn’t care about what he’s eating. Always partying and smoking! But one day his doctor tells him he’s dying from cancer. Now, suddenly health seems to be very important for him. He wants to spend everything he has to save himself. But, unfortunately it doesn’t work that way. You can’t buy health. But you can sure try to prevent these kind of things happening to you just by keeping a healthy lifestyle. Not everybody is ready for this kind of change and we have to understand that. So, my goal is to let you know how you can change your lifestyle easily.
I say that’s enough! Life is too important to ignore the facts. Did you know that the main cause of death today is not the infectious diseases anymore but causes related to what we eat. I spent a lot of time discussing with many groups of people about their daily routine. Most of the time people don’t exercise, they eat fast food on a regular basis, their meal menus are very poor (frozen meals), they’re smoking, they’re consumming an excessive amount of alchool. When I ask them if they realize how bad this is for them they will answer me : I’m young, my body can take it, I have been doing this for the last 5 years, I have no time to eat well. Then I would say WAKE UP. You can change! But you have to WANT IT . I know I won’t be able to help everybody but if I can help as much as I can, I’ll feel good! The ones I’ll help will be able to help others as well, by spreading the information. This is what’s important for me.
I’m going to talk about many subjects all related to our living and eating habits. I’ll use many studies and internet sites to help you understand. I’ll answer most of the questions in private. Reason being is that many of those questions are personal or specific to a person. I’ll still answer general questions on the forum otherwise, would you please use the PM or email. Don’t forget this tread is not an opinion tread. I don’t want to know if you agree or not! I don’t want to know your theory. There is too many wrong theories. If you have a valid point that you would like to bring, PM or email me and we’ll talk about it. Just use common sense.
Ready? Let the truth come out. Don’t look at what you do better than your neighbour. Always do it for yourself first. Try to keep an open mind. Reading this first post is already a beginning. I’m going to talk about the following subjects : Mortality, Nutrition, Free radicals, What your Dr doesn’t know, Exercise, Weight and Supplements. I’m going to post one subject every 3 to 5 days, depending on how many questions I’ll receive.
Enjoy this new day!
Steve Bouchard
Today Mortality isn’t the same as in the 1900’s
200 years ago, the average human life was 25 years. High childhood mortality, gruelling lifestyle and infectious disease take an early toll. In the 1900’s the average human life was 50 years old. People were dying from infectious disease. Like pneumonia, dithery, cold, and many other virus infection. What happen is they find a solution against infectious disease, that are call antibiotics. Today people are dying at an average of 70 to 75 years old. Studiess are showing that we can lived up to 120 years old. In our century what is killing people is degenerative disease. 80 to 90% of all the degenerative disease is due because of the Free Radical. Which disease strike you, will depend on your genetic plus your dietary during your life. So what is a degenerative disease? It can be a cancer, heart attack, heart disease, muscle degenerative, cataract, Alzheimer, allergy, asthma, and the list goes on.
This is an article that I took from the scientific Journal. It’s not from me.
Height deadly disease that are sending people to an early grave
The #1 health enemy is Heart disease 7.2 million deaths a year
Heart disease is an inflammatory disease of the artery not a disease of cholesterol. Over half of the patients who suffer a heart attack have a normal cholesterol level. The underlying cause of inflammation of artery is “oxidized” LDL cholesterol, homo-cysteine, along with excessive free radicals caused by hypertension, diabetes, cigarette smoking, fatty meals, and elevated insulin levels. All of the cause of inflammation of the artery are either eliminated or significantly reduced by the use of nutritional supplementation.
#2 is Cancer 8.2 million deaths a year
In spite of the great advances in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, the eventual outcome is often a very difficult and painful death. Medical literature increasingly support the fact that cancer develop from damage to the DNA of the cell by unstable molecules over the course of 10 to 20 years.
#3 is stroke 5.5 million deaths a year
Stroke occur suddenly and usually without warning. Dr. Meir Stampfer reported in the New England Journal of Medicine in 1995 that 15% of all stroke could be related to elevated homo-cysteine, a by product of protein metabolism that is elevated in individuals who have low levels of folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12.
#4 is Diabetes 194 million of people suffer from it
The overwhelming new case of diabetes in the world today are the result of insulin resistance. Physicians are busy treating blood sugars rather than the underlying problem, which is insulin resistance. Diet, exercise, and potent nutritional supplements all improve sensitivity to your own insulin and are critical in preventing diabetes from occurring in the first place or if you already have diabetes, helping control your diabetes.
#5 is osteoporosis 25 million of people suffer from it
Osteoporosis and bone health depend not only on estrogen and calcium, but on a wide range of nutrients, including vitamins B6, C, D, K, folic acid, Magnesium, zinc, and copper. Failure to meet one or more of these nutrients needs could result in accelerated osteoporosis. Maintaining strong and healthy bones should begin early.
#6 is Arthritis 165 million people have some form of it
More than 70 to 80% of the population over the age of 50 suffer from degenerative arthritis. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication does nothing to slow down the progressive of the disease and it’s responsible for over 100 000 hospital admission each year and 16 000 deaths. Glucosamine sulphate along with complete and balanced nutritional supplements on the other hand, actually slows down degenerative arthritis and is even able to increase cartilage within the joint, without dangerous side effects.
#7 is Alzheimer 29 million people suffer from dementia
Alzheimer’s dementia has been shown to be cause by oxidative stress. Patient who have the highest intake of antioxidants, which combats oxidative stress, have the lowest risk of developing Alzheimer’s dementia. I believe the absolute best way to protect yourself against the development of these neurodegenerative disease is by taking highly potent nutritional supplements.
#8 Obesity there is more people who are obese than normal weight
Researchers are beginning to realize that one of main cause of obesity is insulin resistance. Eating in such a way as not to spike your blood sugar, modest exercise, and nutritional supplements all improve insulin sensitivity. This triad of healthy lifestyle has a side effect of fat loss.
There is more degenerative disease than the ones I listed. I’m not going to talk about all of them. The ones listed above are the most common. If you have any questions in regards to a different degenerative disease I’ll be pleased to answer it in private email. |

A study was made for 9 years on a group of 1500 centenarians. The study lead to some fascinating insight. We will be push to think the older you are the sicker you get. In fact it isn’t! Leaving to or beyond 100 doesn’t mean living with disease and disability. The study reveals the older you get the healthier you have been. Sure become old and becoming ill isn’t separable. Live to 100 years old or beyond means to have lived an exceptional life with a short period of decline at the end.
Most centenarians in this study never smoked, few drank to excess and none was, or had been, obese. I will come back later on the subject. |

Today I will talk about Nutrition/cell
Here we go
Nutrition
Nutrition is the base to everything. We have to eat everyday! But we aren’t doing the best choices all the time. Plus, we aren’t close to be at the optimal level. For those that are following the RNI in Canada you are doing a step in the right direction. The dietary reference intake still fall short when considering the nutritional need for prevention and optimal health.
There is 39 essentials vitamins and minerals that we need every day. There is more substances than those 39. What are those 39 substance know? I will come back on this one a little bit later. We have to understand what those vitamins and minerals will do inside of us. We have to understand what is, attacking the cell. The key is our cell. If we can keep them healthy we will be able to live a healthy life. For the pessimist, it’s never too late to change.
What is attacking our cell is the oxygen. Life’s quintessential paradox is that oxygen-the giver of life-is also our mortal enemy. While absolutely essential for cellular respiration, oxygen involvement in life’s processes lies at the heart of growing old. We, for our cell are ageing because of the oxygen. The reaction of the oxygen is call oxidant or free radical. During the process of the respiration the oxygen particle is attach to the trillion of cell. To have a better understanding I’ll use the burning of wood. The sparks from the spitting fire will burn holes on your nice carpet in front of the fireplace. What would the carpet look like after years and years? In the body, free radical leave a virtual killing field of destruction, making holes in the cellular membrane of the cell. Tearing apart protein and lipid molecules, nasty stuff, with nasty consequences for the cell.
Now what is happening inside the cells. Inside the cell the oxygen will decompose itself in electron. That electron will produce energy and that energy will be transform in water in 98% of the time. Sometime there are not 4 electrons to give the water molecule so what will happen is some free radical. Then at a certain point there will be too much of the free radical. This is what’s causing the imbalance in our system.
We do have a mechanism of defence that we call antioxidant. Our body is making some of the antioxidant needed on a daily base. Unfortunately, not all that we need. We have to find the other antioxidant in our nutrition. There has been many studies since 1971 on which antioxidant is the more important. There isn’t only one, but many are important. There isn’t any magic bullet. It’s like the firefighter in front line. They work in teams, they need a team that replenishes and the other that combats the fire. They work in synergy. The same is happening for the antioxidant. The roll of the antioxidant is to stop the free radical before they cause some structural damage to your cell.
Here’s a good example ; What we call stress oxidative. When you’re looking at a 10 year old child, his skin is smooth and shiny, but if you’re looking at a 50 year old person, you’ll see the wrinkles and dryness of the skin. The same is happening to our organs inside of us.
Another way to look at it would be An Intern War. It has been proved that the chemical reaction, that is happening inside is so violent that it’s making some explosion of light. The explosion of light that is happening inside is neutralising the free radical. If the free radical is not controlled there will be a chain reaction that could lead to a non stop if not controlled. What we call damage cellular. The war is between the oxidant and the antioxidant. Or, if you prefer the expression, the yin and the yang. We will find some antioxidant in our diet through vitamins C, E, A, Beta-carotene, Fruits and Vegetables. We have in second line the minerals like zinc, manganese, selenium, etc. Plus, we need the cofactor B : B1+B2+B6+B12.
To win a war you need a lot of reserve of supply (food, cloths, and munitions). Without it they’ll loose the war. Finally, we want to have a good reserve of vitamins and minerals inside of us to make that antioxidant. As we age, we gradually loose our ability to make that important antioxidant. Another reason to have a good diet. Remember to win a war you need more food, cloths and munitions than your enemy. Why wouldn’t be the same for us!
In couple day I will be talking about free radical |

| Whiteswap |
Good evening everyone
Let's talk about free radical
What’s creating the free radical?
An excess of exercise
Fact
Physical exercise wasn’t recognized important before the end of the 70’s. It’s in the 80’s that the US health secretary will announce the good effects of a moderate period of time of exercise every day.
Why moderate?
A study has shown that people who are doing intense period of exercise are dying from heart attack, celebrosvasculaire accident and cancer younger than the average people. Plus, what doesn’t help them is they’re doing long periods of exercise on top of it every day. Some sports are harder on the body than others. Like marathons, skiing, skating, hockey, soccer and more.
The reason of ageing faster
Dr Cooper did a study on the danger of over exercise. A light to moderate training will increase the free radical from light to moderate. On the other hand, if someone is doing excessive training the free radical will increase in an exponential almost impossible to calculate.
The solution
The result of doing exercise is making free radical in a quantity more than usually. So we need more antioxidant. But remember that our body isn’t able to make it in sufficient quantity. One of the reasons that we have to take some nutritional supplements.
The excess of stress
When someone is under a stressful situation it could be dangerous. The stress can be caused by a financing problem, a stressful job or by the loss of someone. It can be a personal, financing or professional pressure that will lead to a degenerative disease. It’s just a question of time.
For example, you are working in an office company. You begin at the bottom of the scale. Of course you want to get to the top one day. After a couple of years, your boss decides it’s time for you to be in charge of a group. Now you have to work harder every day to get to the top. The new situation is putting on you under pressure. He’s testing you. You have to work exta hours to be able to perform all tasks. A couple of months later your boss is giving you one more task, to be in charge of all floors offices. Now you’re under more pressure. You’re working 11 hours a day to be able to do everything. Your family is suffering because they don’t see you very often. Your boss is giving more responsibilities all the time to see where your limits are. After a few months you realize how tired you’ve become. Nothing at home is working the way you would want it. Then, think what would happen after many years of abuse like that. It’s just an example. But there are many situations like this one in the real life.
Too much stress will cause what we call oxidative stress. Like the exercise a light to moderate stress will occasion an equal quantity or free radical. So if you are suffering from an excessive stress for a long period of time it will occasion a high quantity of free radical.
The air pollution
The air that we’re breathing can cause oxidative stress. Think about it. The breathing air goes in our lungs, in the blood to all the cells and then all inside the body. The pollution can occasion some degenerative disease like asthma, allergies, lupus, cancer and many more.
For example, think about the big city in summer. There’s often a lots of smog that isn’t just visible but is susceptible to be able to taste it.
Cigarette smoke
People still continue to smoke knowing there’s 4000 chemical agents in it. There’s so much documentation these days on the danger of the smoking and second hand smoke and people are still smoking. What would you do if when you wake up in the morning I was giving you a glass with all the 4000 chemical agents and ask you to drink it? I don’t think you would drink it. May be if you’re suicidal. So why do you keep on smoking. The truth is, you can’t stop because you don’t want to, not because it has become a habit. We all have habits! It’s because you like it. Because you don’t want to think about the consequences! Stick your head in the sand if you want to, but by the way all those reasons are just excuses to make you feel better. The most common excuse I hear is : we all have to die one day, so what’s the difference dying from the cigarette than other sickness. I tried to quit but I started again because I was stressed. We all have heard someone saying that. I sure understand how hard it must be to stop, but you have to control yourself. This is a hard task to do. Many people are like the Emu. They have the head in the ground. One day you’ll have to face the truth. It’s better today than when you’ll be dying from it. Enough said on that!
Fact
We could think that smoke and chemical agents are a big threat to our health. The truth is, the smoke from the cigarettes is causing us the most oxidative stress. It’s been proven that cigarette will kill you 100%. It will take around 20 to 30 years to develop in a cancer. Then you know what’s coming after. Death! A long slow death! This is what will happen if you don’t quit smoking.
Reason
The second-hand smoke is the more likely dangerous one. After many years they finally passed the by-law against smoking in public areas.
Cause
Smoking or second-hand smoke can occasion something as banal as asthma or something more dangerous like a cancer. Think about it. You breathe the air than it goes in your blood than in all the cells in your body. It’s really good for you!
Pollution of our food and water
Water Fact
1st In 1998 the Secretary of Defence from USA was saying that 85% of the good water is contaminated.
2nd There is more than 50 000 chemical products that are polluting our reserve of water.
3rd Our filtration industry of water can verify only 40 to 50 chemical products. What about the other chemicals?
4th It’s impossible to know the quality of a bottle of water because there’s no regulation. We’re paying a lot of money for bottles of water. The only one you can trust is the distilled one.
Earth fact
1st After many medical studies, it’s been proven that the absorption of certain products like hydrocarbons, heavy metal, MTBE, Herbicides, Pesticide that we utilise to do the agriculture, to grow our nutrition is damageable to us, to our cells. It’s augmenting our level of oxidative stress.
2nd Those chemical products have been helping the industries to produce our food in a quantity that has never been possible without it. But at what price for our life do we have that much food?
Our nutrition
Fact
1st In North America 40% of our calories are from fat
2nd One out of hundreds of children will have the proper level of nutriment (AQR) from what he’s eating
3rd A child that is already eating badly will continue this habit during all his life
4th During the process of making the whole we are eliminating 80% of the magnesium from it
5th During the preparation of our meats we are eliminating 50 to 70% of the vitamin B6
6th There’s many more facts than these ones but I won’t list them all.
The solar ultraviolet rays
Fact
The skin cancer is continuing to grow up. It’s now been seeing 15 to 20% more often.
Cause
We’re using sun cream that is fact protecting against the UVB but not against the UVA which are the most dangerous ones.
There’s a solution that is getting more and more known today and it’s using a sun cream that is protecting you against UVB and UVA.
The medication and radiotherapy
Radiotherapy
They’re using an oxidant that will kill all cancerous cells but unfortunately there is a side effect. It’s damaging the other good cells too. The reason why is that it’s so hard to go through it and the older you get the harder it is for your body.
Medication
There’s more than 100 000 people dying from prescription made by a doctor and 2 000 000 hospitalized from reaction to it. Don’t get me wrong. I know that they’re saving many lives with prescription drugs. If our body was well balanced we wouldn’t need to take them. |

ill comment on the smoking
i used to smoke at bars and parties and after my job in the hospital i have pretty much gone cold turkey
ive seen so many people laying in their death beds crying for help but nobody can do anything
cancer rotting their bodies to the point where they reek of what honestly can only be described as death
ive wanted to puke when ive seen some of the people on there beds the sight of cancer when its terminal is not something you ever want to witness
maybe one of the reasons is because i had to sit next to these people for twelve hours straight (nightshift) and listen to them cry and moan for all twelve hours
my year two years out of school have brought great learning experiences for sure |

The original question states.........."What do you know about health?"
My answer would have been "plenty"
I am actually waiting for the punch line that this post is steering us in to......... which is ..........drum roll.......
....... Take a mix of Supplements A, B and C on a daily basis and all will be well.
I would say there are approximately 100 topics that have been hit in this post.
Some I highly agree with others are questionable.
But we may as well let Steve finish. |

I am also a skeptic with regards to posts like these. This is a car forum, with a post like this in a subforum. I frequent many health and bodybuilding websites and each and every time there is a serious post outlining a wide variety of info, it leads to a sales pitch in the end.
It is still a great read though and I will keep on reading, however, please clean up the grammar. |

I'm really please that you bring the point. This is the reason I wanted to post this info on cars forum. Everybody should know that stuff or understand the basic of our life. We are living and don't know much about what we are doing at our body. I want to let people know. I want to past all the fact that I can to people so they are more knowledgeable and will help them to make good choice. To be healthy! The society we are living in isn't the best. I will stop now and stay post. I have many other subject that I want to share.
Glad that people like it! |

First of all, health awareness is a very important and I have a degree in a health related field. As such I have a very critical mind when it comes to people writing about health. If you are truly writing to inform people and help them, then good on you... but you REALLY need to improve your writing, arguments and research.
Your claim about life expectancy is way off. The only time life expectancy has dipped below 25 was in the neolithic period. Both the copper and Bronze age were closer to 35. 200 years ago, it was around 38, and has been climbing since.
You also say "the scientific Journal". I would like to know which one you used so I can verify those facts as well.
Here's the one I used:

I only checked the first fact in your writing, but it's not off to a good start. |

I like when people bring points. I don't know everything. One thing you have to take in consideration is, there is many study saying many thing. All these information are all the time updated with new evidence. When I write down the age number I said the world AVERAGE. If you read all what I have written you will see that I stay in general. I'm not going to bring all the fact and go in deep.
Parts of the information that I take are from English Medicine journal, by a biochemist Lyly Macwilliam that as an international reputation as speaker on nutrition and health and many others study from Dr.
For my language I'm sorry but I do my best. My first language is French. So be with me and if there is something that isn't understandable let me know and I will try to improve it.
Thanks for the critic. If you have other point bring in on. I will make change if necessary. |

I do commend you on writing in a language that is not your mother tongue and your points for the most part are very understandable. Take what I say as constructive criticism and not bashing because you do seem very passionate about what you write.
I disagree with your statement that you stay in general terms. While this is a nice way to try to wiggle out of an argument, if you use a number, you have to be able to back it up. You can't use the "my opinion" argument either in the discussion of facts.

What you have said here is that cigarettes will kill 100%. Clearly the research would not support this and it would only take one smoker to die of something unrelated to cigarette smoke to prove that statement wrong. This is not a general statement it's a misrepresentation of fact.

Interesting point, but how is the secretary of defense a credible source on contaminated water? Is he accurate? Is this still accurate 9 years later? The source is often important in evaluating the quality of the evidence.

These 3 points aren't usable. 50,000 chemicals is a large number, but how many of these are harmful? How many are in sufficient quantity to be harmful? If we can only verify 40-50 of them how do we know there are 50,000? (Maybe you meant purify?). Distillation does not remove 100% of impurities in water. There IS legislation to regulate what goes into consumer food products.

You say 1% of children have proper level of nutrition. Where is this data coming from and what constitutes proper nutrition? What is AQR? If you use an acronym you have to tell us what it means.
Now I'm not saying all your facts are wrong or misleading, but it seems that a whole lot of them are.
If you want to keep writing, that's great but be aware that we aren't going to just eat up everything you say without some sort of evidence to back it up. If you misrepresent facts you will get called out on it. You also can't say it's just your opinion when you are representing facts. |

You understand what I mean when I say I try to stay in general. I'm not going to go in deep detail for one reason. It's not everybody that is interested in the detail. We want to know the big line so we can understand our society. They use this number on other study to explain the average of what is killing us today. So this fact is right. It's not wrong. The information is from Dr. Ray Strand. This said, your # will be a great complement to what I have written.

Let rephrase it.
What I means by 100% is most of the smoker will develop a degenerative disease that will be cause or have been helped by smoking. Studies are saying from 22 to 60 % more chance to die from lung cancer than normal men. But this fact is just for this cancer! Women are different. If I wanted to go deeper I could have said normally it will cut your life by an average of 10 years. Plus you have to remember that the cigarette is putting more stress on your system. How many people do you know that didn't die from a degenerative disease that could be cause by smoking? Like you said maybe one on how many? So the big picture here is if you smoke, you are at a high risk to die from it, by witch degenerative disease? It will depend on your system? Some person has weaker body. I know that I cannot say that will kill you at 100%. Will it help to kill you or get a degenerative disease, oh yea!

Interesting point, but how is the secretary of defense a credible source on contaminated water? Is he accurate? Is this still accurate 9 years later? The source is often important in evaluating the quality of the evidence.
You are true on this one. We have better way to treat water today than before. In Canada we don't have a lot of problem with water. We have couple place that need to upgrade them water system but in general is ok. In USA they still have a lot of problem with water purification. It's cost a lot of money to renew the equipment. In summer they often have to boil the water.

Take just this fact.
A small amount of disinfectant is usually intentionally left in the water at the end of the treatment process to reduce the risk of re-contamination in the distribution system.
I'm sure this disinfectant is good and we need it?
True it's not 100% of impurity that is remove from the distillation of water.
However, 99.9% pure water can be obtained by distillation. Distillation does not confer any residual disinfectant and the distillation apparatus may be the ideal place to harbour Legionnaires' disease.
I have study to back me up.

You say 1% of children have proper level of nutrition. Where is this data coming from and what constitutes proper nutrition? What is AQR? If you use an acronym you have to tell us what it means.
This information is from Dr. Ray Strand book. I think is questionable too. AQR Is in french sorry my mistake. In english is Nutrition quality ratio.

I hope you will or any other people thinking I made a mistake will let me know so I can change it. I do this to help people so if I get something wrong I will like to know it so I can change it. Saying that, if you do find something wrong, bring me some study to back up what you are saying. I may have couple fact outdated but most of this info is Wright on the button. I really appreciate your interest to my tread. I have given a lot of energy to come to this. I will correct it with the correct info on couple point you bring |

LOL this scammer tried running this shit on Beyond before he was called out by everyone. If you guys wait long enough, he'll start pushing these miracle pills on everyone as the solution to all the problems he's bringing up right now.
I think you should begin by reading something like this.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutrition
I hate when people are talking trash just to make them interesting.
About beyond. I did a mistake by putting a site on it. I don't want to sell anything. Do I take some multi-vitamins? Yes I do like many others. You guys didn't let me a chance to explain myself. If you read through everything I have posted here you will see that are nothing to do with selling anything. It's great info that could help a lot of people. So be you! This said I hope you will enjoy the reading and keep the trash talking to you! |

Taking your health seriously is all fine and good, and something I would condone. I dont think anyone is better off eating fast food instead of health food, but ultimately I wouldnt brood too much over it. Because for all you know, you'll step out of the health food store tomorrow all set to start your new healthy life and get run over by a dumptruck or whatever gristly ending you'd like to substitute in. Point is life is anything but predictable, so yeah be healthy but dont forget to stop and enjoy life along the way (that includes eating not-healthy).
afterall whats the point of living 100 years + if your not enjoying it. |

Thanks for the link, but I'm pretty sure my education far outstrips your wikipedia knowledge. Most people here are smart enough to see right through your typical sales scam...but I guess you're banking on the dumber ones. |

Here's an interesting read for you whiteswap. The latest research would suggest that Anti-oxidants don't let you live any longer and may actually shorten your life.
Nice information I will continue to follow this study to see what will be the ending. Nutrition is one of the youngest sciences. I’m always keeping an open mind for new info. Until the verdict I stick to what I believe. You can post me link of good info by PM. I like reading on that stuff.
Thanks
Take care |
