hey
i got a 1992 talon that i bought in around september. it's black and there is only one spot on the car that has a little bit of rust on it but it's still under the paint. on the left side of the car it looks like the paint oxidized or something, but it's not that noticeable.
but it's got 190 xxx kms on it, full magnaflow exhaust already and almost new goodyear eagle ultra grip ice tires on it. i could also throw in some goodyear aquatreads with ok life still on them unmounted tho. new spark plugs and wires, clear corner lights with red led's in it, strut bar, i have a bunch of spare parts that you could have as well. we put a different ecu in it, oil return line(from dealer), camshaft position senson, and fuel rail and haven't done anything to it since.
it's the tsi model with awd
lol it's been sitting in the parking lot at my old work pretty much since the day i bought it meaning to pull it into the shop when i still worked there and fix it up and drive it for the winter but never got around to it. their still cool with it staying there tho. and that's where it would be if you were to look at it unless i decide to bring it home anytime soon....unlikely lol ;)
i baught it for 2000 and was looking to get my money back, but i could sell it for around 1500 i think, i need the money and it's a waste for the car to just be sitting around anyways ya know what i mean. well let me know what you think.
i would consider it a project car myself because it isn't obviously perfect and it's already off to a good start and the body is pretty good on it. the interior isnt perfect but it's fairly reasonable...but we're pretty sure that it just needs a new cold start valve and it should start and run just fine...it just doesn't want to start when it's cold outside but if it sits in the shop overnight it fires right up. but i'm tired of spending my money and my time on this so i just want it gone...shoot me some offers and we'll talk ok.

i only see the car every now and then
but the body is in good shape,
and that oxidizing shit i was talking about i'm sure it could be buffed out easily...

but it has black wheels now like you said...
and the only difference on the outside is that it has clear corners now...but i have the oem ones too. |
