my buddy just got his boost controler hes gonna run 9-10 psi all stock except for filter and exhaust is this okay for him or no? summer will be 7-9 , this is without a intercooler

z31?

Either way it should be... ok. But any more and you'll want more fuel and an intercooler.

fredster102
yea, z31 , we installed the boost controler yesterday , if he wanted more fuel what would he need to do , bigger pump / injectors or a regulator?

Thegnome
Idealy you would want bigger injectors and a fuel management to go along with it.

But you can cheat your way into a couple extra pounds of boost http://www.redz31.com/pages/fuel/basepressure.html

That is one way. The stock fuel pump is good for ...anything up to 300hp, after that you need to upgrade. But the stock turbo injectors will only allow for, maybe...280ish hp if you increase fuel pressure.
Like it also lists on that page, even installing a z32 fuel filter will get you a little more fuel to the injectors.

It would really be a good idea to get an intercooler. Its not a huge expense, maybe a pain in the ass to mount. But definitely worth it.
