will any other rim offsets work for a 95 civic lx - Click HERE for Original Thread

gfk.
other than 42?

Rich_A
42 through 48 should work.. you can always add spacers to a 48 or higher rim to help with fitment. i've seen 50 work.

I believe Civic and Integras try to utilize the same offsets.

With that being said, onmy old 95 Integra I ran +35 offsets on my rims. It was flush, maybe 1 mm past flush.

well the rims i want are a 40 offset. would spacers work for that?

sorry if this is a thread jack but what if the rims are 17 x 8....with a +40 offset....could they work on a civic? or work with spacers, or would they be sticking out the well? im still trying to figure out all this width business....i had some wearing on a previous set of rims but it was on the inside....where the camber wear would be....

The Less the offest.. the more the rim will stick OUT.

So..eg:

A +45 Offset would be were stock steelies are.. and a +25 offset would be were those Spanish guys with the wire wheels set out past the rims...

The offset means.. The Mounting part of the wheel is Pushed out passed the Center of the wheel, Width wise..

And Offsets are measured in mm's.. so.. If you want to fit an 8" wheel in your Civic wheel wells.. then you might want to think about a +28 - +32 or so offset... or around there...

Or.. use your spacer... :p eather way works..

fartcannon
haha spanish wire guys lol
