Eurasia is a certified GIAC dealer. One of the mechs that does all the work has a nice S4 too, good for peace of mind.
Brandon (Eurofcuk) had his A4 chipped there. Somewhere in the neighbourhood of around $600 too :thumbup:
Just make sure you get a Vagcom + laptop if you don't already have one, I can't tell you how useful that softtware is. |

| ya i was talking to them over there... he quoted me 699 for giac chiped ecu flash.. doesn't sound to shabby. i was talking to him about his s4.. and he said its a huge improvement in power. im excited to see what this does for me.. i do have a lap top as well.. u will have to explain to me how the software works. |

Did you tell him you need the tip chip? I was under the impression its a different flash because of your tranny, re-codes shift points.
:lol: @ VAG...yeah hard A, not short for vagina. Basically its a must need tool once you start messing around with shit.
Regular shop scanner will just give you a basic reading of what CEL you're throwing which is not much help. With the vagcom you can run diagnostics any time you want on all systems of your car (sound symphony, control modules, etc.)
Good way to let you know you've got any boost leaks as well...I was getting a sporratic CEL come on a few months back. "secondary air injection" logged it and traced it back around the firewall where i found one of the smal vaccuum hoses had cracked open.

| ya i told him i have the 5spd tiptronic. well maybe one day once i get the chip u can give me a hand figuringthe software out if u dont mind.. he quoted me 699.. i asked about needing to swap my dv's for upgraded ones and he said they shouldn't be an issue with the increase in boost.. whats your take on the subject? |

The springs in the stock ones are weak and tend to go quite early so added boost would fuck em' right up. I guess he never had a problem with his but I would defintly change them out.
If your DV's crap out youre gonna run rich and start fucking shit up. These cars are really finnicky if you don't treat them right haha. We put a Forge 006 DV on my car at first and opened up the airbox...was a month of absolute hell running CEL's after CEL's. I ended up replacing all my plugs, 02 sensor, coolant sensor, all 4 coilpacks then finally after doing the MAF the codes quit coming on.
The system differs from most as they recirculate boost with the DV to keep a constant pressure so venting to atmosphere is not good!!! The majority of time if you have a CEL come on your car will go into safe mode, which will drop your boost / fuel to protect itself from breaking. Sucks balls in safe mode...just ask Brandon (Eurofuck) how much fun a chipped car is driving in safe mode 1/2 the time :mad:
There are a few choices as far as DV's go, I picked up a Forge 007 shortly after all the problems with the 006 and its been fine. I intend on chipping my car this spring but would like to be somewhat proactive on the maintenance side so vaccuum lines and throttle body boot will be a must. I know for the A4's you also need to upgrade your N75 valve to N75J (or same as stock TT one) so I'd look into that too.

Now on another note I paid $599.99 Eurasia is over charging you.
Infact the S4 only sees 25 hp gain with the flash. Its the A4 that sees the greatest use of the flash, non the less 25 hp is VERY noticalbe in these cars.
But i paid 600 plus gst for my flash,
When you have problems with the flash Eurasia will be the first to charge you up the ass to trouble shoot, and then rape u up the ass to fix it. You lose twice with them.
So make sure your cars running 100% b4 having the flash done.
Other wise go talk to Richard over at Darsh Imports, tell him Brandon and Travis recomended to you the Revo chip. Hell get it done for you at a good price i think around $550 and hes amazing at trouble shooting problems. Plus he only charges you to fix you problem not trouble shoot.
