Hey guys,
Can anyone reccomend a body shop that can repair some poly urethane damage, for a good price and relatively fast
The probelm is a cracked front bumper, and the side skirt has a hole in it, along with some bending, i want to stay away from buying a new front bumper, and side skirt due to crazy high prices
thanks |

| Thats the trade off between poly eurethane and fiberglass... Fiberglass (my preference) can be fixes.. Urethane cant (Short of melting it together lol.. but that wont ghold and will damn hard to do! lol. You might be able to use bondo..but it wont hold very well.. |

| Also, you can fiberglass the outside of that bumper and make a fiberglass one.. Alot of sanding, but i've seen it done with lip kits etc... You need to fiberglass the inside again to make it fit well though! |

any idea what the name of the shop is?
...btw the bumper and side skirts are not after-market they are the stock ground effects for my car...unfortunatley the side skirt costs 800, and the bumper is over 1300, so i would prefer to have it repaired than buy new parts, but it looks like it won't happen, short of a half assed bondo job |

| Londonderry Chrysler's Body shop told me they do it all the time... I haven't seen their work. As long as it's just cracked and you have the missing part for the hole it should be good, I want to get some of the glue stuff they use and fix a few cracks in my Snow mobile hood. |

If you dont know what you are talking about dont post. Polyurethane can easily be repaired with the right materials and adheisives. As far as actual plastic welding, this process only works on thermo plastic and not thermoset plastic. |
