George was a bum when he was in Edmonton. He's the only heavyweight who thinks he's a sniper, and wouldn't drop the gloves. I saw an exhibition game a few years ago against calgary, where calgary got 3 kneeing major's, George refused to drop the gloves, Smith, Moreau, and even Comrie ended getting in fights that night, but not big George :dunno:
All he would do is skate around the net with 1 hand on his stick :dunno: He was horrible in his own end. I'm glad the oilers got rid of him. |

Everybody's talking only about big george to protect crosby and malkin I think people should look more at the other player they got Gary Roberts I personnaly think he's gonna be a bigger help than laracque
but that's just my 2cents |

wow, someone on here actualy has some hockey sence. roberts could actualy be the guy that puts the pens over the top. he brings great playoff exp, true grit and work ethich to a team that needs to be show how to get it done. |

| Fleury will crack. I really don't think he has the chops to handle No. 1 goalie duties day in and day out. It's still exciting as shit to watch Pittsburgh play though and it would be great to see them go far in the playoffs this year. Unfortunately I'm not sure they're there yet. None of these kids have playoff experience, but hopefully this will be a big learning year for them and they get a nice throwback to the Pens of the early 90s. |

Yeah I don't know how far they will get but the addition of Roberts will be a big help. Watching Fleury can be aggravating. I love aggressive goalies who go out to cut down the angle but we sure can venture out too far.
I just wish there were more televised Pens games out here. They are the most exciting team that I have watched all year. |
