I liked the first Billy Talent album a lot, but lately these guys have been my favorite Canadian band:
Protest the Hero... after a few listens to this album it really grew on me.
Social Code from right here in Edmonton are a cool band too, they have a new album coming out right away. |

Sure The Tragically Hip are pretty popular (they can pretty much sell out Rexall Place. But outside of Canada, nobody know's who Matthew Good is.

I also really dig what the boys in Ten Second Epic are doing, Alexisonfire is great and Wintersleep from just outside of Halifax definately deserve a listen (Eddie Vedder heard seen them and immediately gave them his home phone number to call anytime!) |
