So Im driving to work today behind a semi with a flatbed.
So a piece of ice the size of a garbage can drops off from under the trailer and starts bouncing down the highway towards my car.
I tried to swerve, but still clipped the corner of my bumper....
So now I'm out like $800.00 bucks... woot:thumbup:
Fucking Trailers should have to store these things inside, or at least spray them off before highway moves.
I fucking hate winter, canada, and this province. |

Ouch, that sucks man.
edit: I hate this province and winter too.. I'm going to go crazy if it doesn't warm up enough to go riding again soon. I know a couple people moving or travelling to australia / new zealand and I keep asking myself why the hell I'm still here. |

| Did you happen to get his license plate Arron? Truck drivers are responsible for anything that falls off their load. |

Let me guess...it happened on the WhiteMud...
Can't stand that freeway...today, some asshole's liscence plate flew right at my while I was changing lanes...swerved the best I could but i know it hit my front bumper....I'm not even going to look at the damage it may/may not have caused...I'm better off that way. |

| I hate this weather. The heater blower motor in my winter beater crapped out on me, it's a wiring problem I can't even begin to troubleshoot. Luckily I have another car.... watch out ricers.... the Bumblebee is back  |

That sucks, Aaron.
Is there any way to track down what company it was or anything like that? |

I was paying more attention to the ice chunk bouncing down the highway then anything else. Didn't get license plate, type of truck etc.
For the amount of money the new bumper is going to cost, I think i'm just going to bite it and pay it out from my pocket. |

that sucks man sorry to hear that.
i was on my way to red deer once, and there was an open flat bed that whipped by me and was carrying some pipe or something, but there were some blocks of wood supporting those pipes and i see them fly off the back and into someones windsheild, this happened to the car in front of me, i think the guy was ok tho. i was lucky i slowed down after that truck passed or it would have been me! |

I was on the highway going to nisku from devon. And there was an almost complete subwoofer box sitting dead center of the road, taking up about 1/2 the width of my lane. a dual 12" box ment for a truck.
Luckily I notice it in time to pulll over, and there was no traffic so I threw it in the ditch to the side. I would have kept it if it would fit in my car lol. |

| I was driving behind a semi when this big white sheet came up from under his axles right in front of me on the whitemud. I swerved and it clipped the front of the bumper and made a thud. This was under the 99st bridge, and I later drove by a truck on the shoulder with 2 guys re-strapping some drywall to the back of their work truck. Fucking idiots, but lucky for me I was driving a loaner civic from the dealership. But if that was my car, I would have been pissed. |

C'mon Aaron. You know you want to! But if you get it with this bottom lip instead of just a flat lip I will be forced to punch you in the face.

| But the APR widebody has such horrific gaps between the panels. And that example was built by them for a magazine / show car... |

I feel for you Aaron, man that stinks.
My cousin hit a christmas tree on highway 21 east of the city once...
A christmas tree!... He still has tinsel stuck in his radiator grille.
I can't stand it when people don't know how to properly lock down stuff. |
