| hey everyone. im lookin at purchasing a 1999 civic SiR on wednesday but noticed that the rear bumper looks like one from a 1996-1998 civic coupe rear bumper where the bottom part rolls in instead of out. is it only 2000 civic coupe rear bumper where the bottom points out or is it 1999-2000 civic coupe where the rear bumper points out. thanks |

| my 00 had the point, so did my buds 98 si lol. If it has a b16 and the vin checks out then buy it.. Not like you're not gonna get a vin check.. everyone does. |

I have looked at a few SIR pictures but all are a bit to modded to say but I am sure that the rear like you said curves in and out then rounds off and under.
I would say regardless go down to any DMV and have a lean search and accident history pulled, I think it's about $14 next is to take it to a shop for a full inspection with the emphasis on body structure.
I don't know if the AMA still does it but it use to be $90 and they would find something wrong on new cars fresh off the assembly line there that picky!
Way to many people when buying a auto don't factor in inspection costs and just at the last minute when they think about it durning the deal process the brush it off cause it's gonna take to much time hassle and money.
It's can take an whole extra day to go Thru the bullshit and maybe about $100 buck's and if the cars legit it's all good if not then well that's obvious.
If you buy this car you gotta bring it out to some meets dude and ummm is it blue? I really dig blue Sir's :beer: |
