| ok.. about a week ago.. my stereo got stolen out of my civic.. its a 97 si coupe.. ive been around stereos for years now.. not new to installs.. done pretty much everything.. however, after my stuff got jacked... ive been having trouble with my speakers... the connections are good at the deck.. the speakers work.. i tested them.. but the wiring seems to be bad.. does anybody know if there is a fuse for the speakers anywhere in the car?? i pulled every fuse in the fuse box and i cant wrap my mind around it.. every once in a while a guy needs some help. thanks |

what do you mean by "bad"?
are they scratchy?

| i appologize, i wasnt clear on "bad" the front left (drivers) speaker is not working, neither is the tweeter on the drivers side, like i said, the speaker works but the wiring is not working.. so i was wondering if there is a fuse that might be blown somewhere.. does anybody know?? |

| No fuse that can cause this. Its more likely that there is a broken wire in the system somewhere. I suggest running a new set of wires from the deck into the door, than it takes that out of the equation. Its also possible that there is a blown channel on your deck, in which case the only fix is to replace the deck. |

| no blown channel on the deck.. all channels work.. i tested them... and i will be running new wiring soon.. just thought that there mignt have been an easier fix.. thanks |
