2000 audi s4 radio in safe mode - Click HERE for Original Thread

so i disconnected my battery in my car and i went into safe mode and i put the wrong code back in after pressing rdbs,p-scan, now when i try to put the right code back in and i hit rdbs,p-scan it doesn't do anything at all.. i can't put a code in. can anyone help me, and does anyone know what do to.. after hitting those buttons the number 1000 should come up but it doesn't please help. i have had no music for a week now!! grr..

hahaha Fazda buddy you locked it out. Everytime you disconnect the battery the radio goes into safe mode.

Read your Audio Symphony manual...I think all S4's come with the Bose stereo, you have to hold 2 of the buttons (rbds+the one underneath it) down at the same time and enter the right code.

lol i know i locked it out.. i have pressed the two buttons and its not doing anything i have disconnected the battery a couple of times. and i have also taken the radio fuse out hopint it would reset it. but its not working. no matter how many times i try to push those buttons and enter the code nothing comes up.. do u know any other tricks.. i have read the manual.. i thought maybe there was somthing i was missing.. its a pain in the ass!

nope a4 - 1.8TQM...with premium/coldweather/sport package.
I still have my lude for tearing around in the summer so Im happy with it for now.
