You could try this and see if it gives you anything with out the car running.

I know you can dissable the anti theft on a z31, but I have no clue what to do on a z32.

Kylenardo
yea its got compression
the last guy who owned it said it was running fine but one day he tried to start it and it wouldnt start for him and the anit theft light stayed on

its got like 100 thou kilometers
and its right hand drive

Be careful. Some of the advice that I saw on that site was just plain mean!

I remember someone posting that they just finished installing their boost controller and set it to 13 psi. The car was making weird noises under wide open throttle, like a thousand nickels falling on the ground....

The very next poster said "crank it up to 15 psi and see if it goes away."

And this was in the tech section....

Kylenardo
haha well luckily i research before i ever tinker with my car:D
id hate to break anything
but yea so im checking all the wireing cause the last guy hacked it up real bad, i found out he had a starter in it before
and an after market alarm
so right now im just getting all the wires in the ECU back to stock
then im gonna be checking all my switches in the door
and it turns out my fuel pumps got no power, so im hoping doing all that will bring it back to life, if not, well back to the drawing bored

That site should come with a couple disclaimers:

1) Use this site at your own risk.
2) You may experience a temporary drop in your IQ proportional to your length of stay.

Thegnome
Alright, I dont know how the z32 section of that site is, but the z31 has just about every common problem covered. So thats why I figured it would be a good place to mill around on.

Kylenardo
yea well it deffinitly had a few things that caught my interest
like i found this manual i downloaded,
helps me out cause thats one manual i didnt have before:D
so thanks!!
ahah but i also saw some stuff that made me laugh
so it deffinitly falls under the ( use at own risk policy)
as for my IQ.... lets not talk about that haha

deprato07
