I had a meeting with Budpark officials today and together we are working on solidifying some minor issues.
Here is what I can report to you right now:
- The meet will happen at Budweiser park on September 30th. Racers will cost ฤ, crew and spectators will cost Ů.
- There will be 3 rows of pit area designated to the Asianet Meet. There will be a show and shine also and likely a BBQ.
- Vendors are welcomed to participate and donate prizes, there will be no cost to set up booths or show cars other than the regular entrance fees.
- I believe pits open at 9 am with racing beginning at 10am. Last run at 5pm.
This is a test and tune so there will be other racers there, so no guarantee on the amount of runs unfortunately, however turnout for previous test and tunes have been quite low. There is no scheduled competition unless there is interest and it is possible to organize.
Budpark will be contacting me on some other requests I've made which need to be authorized. But for now, you can probably start to spread the word. We're going to need a bunch of volunteers to help organize this. So if you are interestred, please post here. Thanks. |

| how many ppl are planning to go to the AsiaNet meeting at Soda Jerks on thursday? _i'll probably be there with Marximus (look for a silver Miata and and a white Camaro.)
btw, for anyone who's new to Soda Jerks... RCMP watch the place pretty closely so watch your speed and don't peel outta the parking lot. _there's better ways to spend your money than on a stunting ticket |

CRXGuy,
All your friends are welcomed! In fact we will be distributing flyers at some of the import shops in Calgary.
- This is not an AsiaNet gathering, it is open to all
- This is most certainly not an Asian thing! Everyone is invited!
|
