hey guys. I bought two diamond audio D6's 10's...Along with two sets of Diamond Audio HEX S600a's with tweeters/crossovers.
Running the Subs I have a Kicker ZX400.1 Amp and running the components I have an Alpine MRV-F345 50watts X 4
I paid 475 for the Alpine amp
995 for both sets of speakers
and 2000 for the kicker amp plus the d6's, box, wiring, install
what do you guys think ? |

Most people get ripped off, so that's besides the point. What I'm wondering though, is why you would get such nice components and subs, then cheap out on the amps so badly.

And why would you pair such hi end speakers with such midgrade/shitty amps? It's such a waste IMO. If a "pounding" system is all you're after, you can get that from Crappy Tire or XS Cargo. Diamond Audio gear is for discerning audiophiles, not some thugga looking for a poundin' system he can floss.
And really, why are you asking about what I run? What does that have to do with you getting jacked? |

| I definitely agree with the other people about the amp. I have DA for everything and the stuff is damn impressive. And I used to have a 'high end' Alpine amp and there was a noticable difference upgrading to a Diamond Audio amp. And not just in my bank account. :thumbup: |

| The real question is, do you like how it sounds? If you do than thats what really matters. Are you happy with what you paid, if you are thats what really matters. What other people tell you shouldnt matter so much. I mean its nice to get outside input, but after the desision is made and you have the gear, you need to live with it. If your happy than I would say that you did good for yourself and you should go enjoy the system |
