Lightweight Batteries - Click HERE for Original Thread

So, the car needs a new battery, so want to pick up something fairly light, preferably gel cell. Anyone know where I can pick one up? And a brand/model of one that is actually lightweight. (red tops seem just as heavy as any other battery to me. Maybe i'm nuts)

I'm using a lawn tractor battery here. No problems a year later- a lot lighter and smaller than your average gel cell. I wouldn't consider this option if you drive your car in the winter.

If you're prepared to spend a little more money, look into the odyssey PC 680 for a slick setup. It should have more than enough power to get you through the cold.

Car does not see winters, so thats not a big issue.
