| I noticed no difference in the road conditions.. not slippery at all... I even took the corner on 63 ave and 91 st at 60kmh... tiny bit of slippage, but thats normal. And I drive a crappy car too.... |

didnt see any.. but i didnt drive in the evening.. left work at about 1am.
most of yellowhead was horrible tho.. in 4th at like 1500 my car would kick out hard under any throttle. it was shitty.
might be worthwhile throwing with winters on for a few days til it all clears up :( |

| coming back home from nisku, i saw atleast 4 semi trucks in the ditch, and maybe 12 cars or so. one of the semi trucks trailer split in half(literally). within the city, i saw no accidents though:( |

i almost caused one... trying to stop at the lights on 156st goign south over the yellowhead. began applying the "brakes" at 20kph, gave up and used the parking brake at about 15kph(40 feet later) and finally stopped 6 inches from the next car. I FUCKIN HATE ABS "ANTI-BRAKING SYSTEM"
This was in my work vehicle(07 hyundai tucson), and I can't disable the abs without also disabling the 4WD-so my choice is don't go anywhere because of 1 wheel drive V.S. don't stop.
I'm seriously considering going back to using my subaru station wagon, because at least it's safe to drive on winter roads - even if i can't fit some of my tools. I disabled it's ABS long ago with no other consequences besides a instrument lamp illuminated...
I wonder how many rear-end collisions could have been prevented by not having ABS??? |

For the people that can't for the life of them threshold brake properly, ABS is still better to have. (which is probably the majority of the public out there) |

| ya that accident on highway 2 with the semi's looked horrible. i drove by it at about 8:30 last night.. the semi was right in half.. i looked like another one was rolled over in the ditch. it would of sucked to be behind all the traffic.. luckly i was heading south towards nisku. lol.. looked nasty. people need to slow down when its ugly out like this |

1) Tanker on its side on the QE2.
2) Truck split in HALF (the trailer was) on the QE2 in ditch
3)Corollay vs pick up on QE2.
4) LOTS OF CARS IN THE DITCH
5) I saw a saturs sitting with its front and rear smashed, but no other car haha. |

I was driving back at like 10 from the airport and i was following a truck. The guy had his cabin lights on and I had wondered why he wasnt letting me merge off the airport mergining lane.. He was paying NO attention at all.. I saw all the cars up ahed and he was still barreling towards em.. He got so close I finally flashed my HID's a few times and he slammed on the brakes. He went into the fgar left lane and flew by about 7 cars on the 2 right lanes before stopping on the shoulder. |

| Yeah I only like ABS in the dry. |

| I threshold with my ABS (letting off just enough so the abs stops) and it seems to work better than using the ABS in these conditions. |
