This is the funnest car I've ever owned or drove, and if it could hold a streetbike in the trunk, I'd never ever sell it... but alas its not a truck.
Anyhow, I bought this car at the end of last summer, the body panels are all in great shape, the interior is absolutely MINT and the 10 speaker surround is still intact and in great working condition (amp is still under passenger seat etc). There is a aftermarket mp3 deck in it, and its very clean. No major body damage or cracks at all, one repair done by previous own in back corner where he cut out a section of rust that has been painted over but on the bottom needs to be touched up. Other than that the car was completely stock minus the rims.
I had the engine go while out to my parents on hiway 2, and the car was towed using a proper AWD towtruck to my parents where I kept it until I got a JDM engine to swap in as it was cheaper than getting the stock one rebuilt. I took the car to get the engine installed, and the other one was pulled, and it was realized there is rust damage to the rear subframe in the back drivers side corner of the car. I was sold the car with a safety which was true for the rest of the car but they obviously didn't fully check the subframe fully. The inspector has been contacted but the case has been dropped by AMVIC.
You can feel free to come look at it if you please. I'm fairly sure anyone interested in buying this could fix it themselves, or has autobody workers in the family etc. The car is NOT written off or reported or anything like that. Its title is perfectly clean. I'm honestly not interested in your opinions on what I should do with this car, and complete low balls aren't considered as I'm willing to deal well on the car.
There is one of theses with the stock engine, no extras, and in fairly shoddy condition for around $12,000 and 250,000kms in Edmonton right now. With everything on this page I have around $11,000 into the car, and am honestly looking to give someone an amazing deal if they are willing to fix it. Everyone knows these cars aren't cheap by any means considering other cars in the same class, and being so very limited in production and hard to obtain.
Everyone knows these things are insane, and how notorious they made Toyota in rally when they ran them in the early 90s. These things are very quick and powerful for using an engine as small as a 2L. Never mind the thousands of km's people say they last. Sadly I had bad luck.
Anyhow I'm selling:
1990 Celica Alltrac
190,000km on body
No Engine in Car (removed by mechanic)
Original Canadian Engine blown on Crate out of car - 200hp.
Stock Rims include BRAND NEW Nice Winter Tires (less than 2000kms)
(i honestly cant recall what company the tires are... common brand...)

3SGTE JDM Engine (220hp (i believe... it could be 240. I'm really unsure).
Engine is from JDM Source (who else is better?) and is warrantied and my mechanic looked it over. Includes turbo, tranny, intercooler, block, the whole shebang complete. I havent even seen the paper but the JDM source people told me the engines are 40-65,000kms in the batch I was buying from. (www.jdmsource.ca) for more info. Will NOT part out engine complete.

NEXEN N3000 Hiperf Tires (215 45ZR17) [These things are like... 3000kms old...these still have the rubber nobbys all over]
I'm not sure the bolt pattern these Celicas were, but I do believe these rims are normally sold as VW rims potentially. All are EXCELLENT shape, with a few minor rock chips and no huge curb damage.
I'm taking offers on all 3 things, or as a set. If someone is willing to take 3 off my hands I'd be willing to part with it all I'd be willing to sell it at a amazing deal well below the value of this car minus the required repairs. My quote on getting the JDM engine installed was $1500 complete and that was by a performance shop. They however do not do autobody work and were unable to fix the frame and once they found the damage I decided Id rather sell.
And if your not interested, I'd love if you kept your comments to yourself. This cars broke my heart enough lately and now I gotta let her go. |

I'm sorry everyone - I was gone for 2 days for easter holidays. I wasn't expecting much activity over the weekend.
A few things I forgot to note - paint was touched up in a few places, but there is places that could be looked at. The bondo was not dealt with as the car was parked for repairs not long after I got it. If any of you seen this car before from the previous seller - it is is literally the same condition.
I replied to everyone that replied to me EXCEPT "
quonzilla" as he offered me less for the car and engines than people have been offering me for just the JDM engine. I didn't even take his pm as a serious offer.
Car also has a brand new radiator (installed), which I put in a week or so after getting the car, I also fixed issues with the sunroof motor.
4500obo for the car and motors. I am willing to deal, but offers of less than 1000 for the whole setup will not be considered as I've been offered in the 1k range for the JDM Engine complete. |

first of all if u woulda read ur pm right i wrote "1000 for ur complete swap.."
those were my exact words..
i dunno if u understand but when i said complete swap means your complete engine swap...
i have no intentions what so over of your car..
offering you 1000 for your complete seems fair..
maybe u should take a look at ur pm again.

I understand what your saying now - I sincerely apologize for the confusion.
I'm willing to sell the 3SGTE JDM for $1000-1200 range, I was just a little scared of letting it go without selling the car and engine together.
If the car isn't going to move at all however I would be willing to sell just the engine to regain at least some of my losses. |

There was no accident that i had the car in.
The rear fender right behind the pasengers side rear tire at the bottom is bondo'd - It almost looks like it was a rust thru area that was removed and bondo'd and the last owner stated the bondo simply had to be sanded and painted. I don't have a pic of the area and its not HUGE or visible but it will want to be looked at.
I've got a bottle of touchup paint and a can of spray paint that is color matched from the last owner to finish the fix.
Frame damage is from rust on the drivers side - rear subframe mount on that side is rusted out and needs to be welded and repaired.
Sorry about the jdm swap sale - I'm just really scared I wont be able to sell the car without the engine. i will contact you asap howver if the car doesnt sell as i am moving soon to red deer |

$4000 obo for Car and JDM Engine
Willing to throw in the Canadian Engine for anyone interested (I just had a few people not wanting it). I always thought spare engine parts were a good thing!
Also had an offer on the rims (with no rubber) but I didnt know if Id be able to sell the rubber at all. Anyone interested?
The rims were 17x8 and i know alltracs take 5x100s but not sure what offset. So if anyone wants those give me a shout!

I never had an estimate done on the engine, I'm moving away and graduating and plan on buying a new truck. I bought this last fall hoping to drive it till this summer then sell it at the end of summer but things just didn't pan out and its really difficult to transport the car with me.
This car has rust on the bottom and is not the condition of any of these JDM ones you see around. Don't expect it to be.
Anyone with a celica GTS or an alltrac or anything that wants the car for parts or whatever they please I'm willing to let the whole car go if the price is right. Awesome interior, or even steal the wide fenders and hood or whatever you choose. The glass in the ENTIRE car is A++.
I'm leaving in under 2 weeks already and I'm trying to move everything before I'm gone.
The engines are however at my dads in Wetaskiwin and if I can get the car sold, I'd love to cause then I'd sell the engine[s] instantly, but luckily I have them stored and not worried about. If quonzilla is still interested he will be the first person I talk to for sure. |

well i would take the car and the blown motor...
but not for much... probably like $600 or so depending on how bad the frame damage is and how much i'll have to replace in the motor
but realisticly i don't know if it's worth more... i'm really sorry man.. it sucks that you got a lemon out of the whole deal... |
