Tire bulge - Click HERE for Original Thread

Momentum
Tires are pretty new

i drove about 15 km's to my girlfriends house and when i got out i noticed the back right tire had smoke or steam coming from it and the air was kinda low. Worried, i drove back into town and 15 km's to the gas station to fill with air. As i was filling with air i heard a "POP or CLICK" sound, couldnt really make it out, but i kept filling er up.

As i drove out of the gas station i noticed the car bouncing up and down so i slowly made my way home.

Look at the tire and there is a HUGE bulge along the outside of the rim.

What happened?
Fixable?

sounds like your sidewall is done. I'm not an expert but when ever i have seen this it usually ends with the tire needing to be replaced. I would watch how much you drive on that tire. Can you use your spare and take it in. hope it works out for you.

Momentum
I doubt it can be fixed.
The bulge is around a whole 1/4 of the rim.

It looks pretty messed up.
The tires are pretty new and 17'' argh.

Dont want to be spending money right now.

Unfortunatly it's hatched... you can't fix that.

What brand of tire was it, there might be warranty.

Momentum
Well it popped when i was going about 25km/h yesterday :p

You said yourself it was a new tire. I agree with the others and say warranty.
