If you buy a car from auction in Japan it does not not come with a Provincial OOP inspection through IC.
For that price oyu will be able to get a fairly decent condition Mr2 I think. It is hard to tell what cars need repairs and what dont unless it is pointed out by the seller or at the auction that it has damage or a part that needs repair. I have picked up a car from vancouver as well as some other customers of IC and driven the car back with no problems. But just make sure you give the car a look once over before you decide to drive it all the way home as if something is a big problem then you might need to get it fixed in Vancouver or else send it with a transport company
If you compare what you are looking for to this example then you will see that under $7000 is possible for a really nice Mr2
