Im trying to help a friend take apart the turbo to clean it. Now how do you take the blades out? On one end its a 14mm and on the other it looks to be a 8mm. And the turbo is from a SR20 factory turbo.
I dont know much about turbos so dont flame me for not knowing. |

| You can remove the CHRA from the housing, but do not disassemble the CHRA. If you do you'd need to send it in somewhere to get rebalanced. |

| The problem is that there is oil in the turbo. So it needs to be cleaned out. What does CHRA mean? Compressor Housing R A? sorry dont know all the tech terms. |

RA = Rotating assembly ?
Don't take that shit apart. Use a degreaser thats safe on rubber to clean it out, and rinse it will right away with water. |

| Yeah thats what we did we just went to Can Tire and bought some degreaser then rinsed it. Then used a air hose to dry it all out. It seems to be pretty clean now :thumbup: |
