| no longer works, it just makes a loud vibrating noise, so I'm assuming its some type of actuator or link thats broken. I didn't install the locks they did it with the compustar install but I don't want to pay someone to fix it I'd rather do it myself so anyone know where to start or how to fix it? |

take the door panel off and put the two pieces back together..
you'll see them as soon as you pop off the panel |

as said before pull the door panel off, get a new actuator there about $8, get the 2 wire one, i believe you have an after market one in there, replace it, re-solder the 2 wires, there usually green and blue, just match em up, and try it if there backwards, then swap them, should be a very easy fix.
But how long ago did you get it done? most places offer lifetime warranty on labor, so buy a new actuator and get them to replace it under warranty. |
