Power loss in 1st gear - Click HERE for Original Thread

Ok guys so i have a 91 plymouth laser with the mitsubishi 4g63t with the 4 speed auto (dont laugh its my winter car) lol, but basically when i step on the gas i have power from about 1200-2000 rpm when the turbo gets going. then i still have boost according to my guage but i have no power from about 2000-3300 rpm but i can hear my engine still reving up and my tach shows it obviously and then my tires skip around 3500 rpm and i have decent power from there.

i just had a tune up and replaced both my sensors and flushed my tranny and didnt notice anything weird in flushing my trany so im at a loss here. Any ideas please let me know. thanks

Small boost leak?

That might explain why you have no power, too much fuel, then when you build more boost, the amount of air going in sort of over comes the amount of air being lost (hard to explain I guess :) ) then you have power in the upper revs.

Turbo needs replacing?. ie loose bearings, poor tolerances, bent/bad compressor?.
