Event Info: We are kicking off the 07 autoslalom season with a test and tune event. Come out to fine tune your car and driving. This event will be run like a regular event with timing and run groups. The course will most likely similar if not the same as the autoslalom school, so the course will feature basic elements to help drivers work on car tuning and driver technique. Students from the autoslalom school are encouraged to come out to this event for more seat time, and get better experience to what a regular event runs and feels like. Drivers should get between four and six runs depending on the turn-out. If time permits we will try for more.

When: Sunday, April 29 @ 8:30am.

Where: Griesbach Parade Square located between 144-145 Ave NW, and 110-112 St NW. Look up "Griesbach Edmonton" on Google maps and you will see the lot.

Cost: $15 for ASA members, $25 for non-members.

Registration: Via karelo.com. Note: Car classes and car numbers are required for registration for this event. If you need information on car classing, or about the event please go to the forum at: www.mrheavyfoot.com.

Other Requirements: You need to supply your own mechanically sound car for the driving session. Passenger seat required. Helmets are required, but for drivers who don't have their own, club helmets are available for loan. Helmets can be open or closed face and need to be Snell approved. Certification of Snell 95 or newer required and of type M,SA, or K.

do we have to pay on the internet??? can we pay in person?

We do prefer registration using Karelo since your driver/car information is ready to go at the event. It makes life easier for the organizers, but if you show up at an event and register on the spot we won't turn you away, unless it's close to the end of registration. Just make sure you show up early enough so we can get you entered in the system and teched ~8:30am.

Great to hear the events are starting! Hoping I will have a little bit more work on the vehicle so I can come out and rip around!

Oh, for those who can't make it to the ASA Autoslalom School, this would be the next best event to start with.
