Can I get a hell yeah for the DSM boyz? Especially mitsuman and talont, not to mention v8slayer who pulled off a mid 13 second pass on a freshly built engine on 9 lbs of boost.

SRBURG13
Yeah, quick cars. BTW, what were you driving today?????

SHIFT_AT_9000_RPMS
Very impressed with the white Talon, that's pretty crazy when a street car can run the quarter as fast as a bike!!

TyPhOOnSliPPerY

what happened to rogers car ? was it supposed to be running that low of boost

I wish I would have gotten my car into registration in time and blew up a DSM this sunday ..... everyone must have been dissapointed ...have at least one a year doing that

Heh heh heh, I was driving that 91 Laser with the two tone paint job "Buy Me, 4 Sale" on the windshield and "You lose" on the hatch. Bone stock with a muffler I managed to pull off a 15.13 @93.67 MPH with tonnes of wheel hop, shutting off the windshield wiper's twice each pass was kind of interesting.

He was intentionally running 9lbs of boost, it is a freshly built engine and still needs to be worked in.

Heh heh heh, we managed a 13.4 which is still pretty bad, had a couple tuning issue's as well as the everpresent transmission woes. Situation's should be rectified for our next appearance at the track.

TyPhOOnSliPPerY
yeah the tranny seemed to be a cause of some problems on that civic

I liked that laser with the No-Vtec and No-Mitsu signs

Not only did I put a new race engine in the car but I also put a AEM EMS in it.
Blaine was partly right why I was only running 8.98 PSI on 91 Octane instead of 30 PSI on C-16.
The other side of the story is I simply only had the car running good enough to tune for about 1/2 a week and the process is very slow with the engine I have.

My plan is to tune it perfect at 15-16 PSI on 91 Octane for about mid 12's to high 11's for daily driving. Then throw some C-16 in it and tune it for 30 PSI for 10's or better.

Never the less I was going very easy on it (As I should be) and didn't expect doing a 13.35 @ 101mph using less boost than a stock Talon comes with from the factory that would typically net an ET of 15 - 15.3 secs. As you can imagine that was very good news.

I'll let you guys know how things progress.

I almost shat on the spot when I saw this unassuming white talon lining up against another car.. and decimating it. Only clue to this beast, one headlight missing :)

That my friend is a total sleeper :) awsome work PearlyWhiteTSI!

v8slayer, was that your car parked by the dyno?

Who's talon was the black one?

As much as I would like to take credit for the rolling piece of 11 second art, it belongs to Mitsuman, along with all the effort and design involved. I supplied the odd part but the total package and labor is all Mitsuman.

I don't remember a black Talon but there was Dark Green Talon that belongs to Talont on this board. Again Pro Drag supplied a few main ingredients but the time and energy invested was all that of the owner.

There is a 1998 TSi AWD that Pro Drag/Zippy's has had a MAJOR hand in that could not attend due to driver illness, if it had attended it COULD very well have been an ALL DSM final 4. BE AFRAID of this Silver PUMPGAS STREET TERROR, BE VERY AFRAID.

V8slayers car was not parked next to Stew's Dyno to the best of my knowledge, his is the Red 93 TSi AWD with the black roll call on the doors and the Konig Holes in graphite for rolling stock.

SplineZ
My mistake :)

Props to Mitsuman.. holy crap man

hrm, I should pay attention to who drives what more often ;)
