Are yous till using the powershot s200?? Or have you made an upgrade.

I find that with my photos they all tend to get blurry, maybe it's just my uneasy hand but too many good shots are being wrecked b/c of that.... Any suggestions as to how I can improve my shots w/ that camera?

Let me take a look at it for you Chris, maybe there's some manual functions you can adjust, bump the ISO level up so it works like faster film.

Great shots Benny, what camera are you using?

Believe it or not a Canon S200...I just have that puppy OWNED!

I rarely get a shitty shot out of it, but thats due to lots of practive.

...I'm financing a new camera though...CANON D10 :D :D

My advice...are you keeping the camera on the wrong setting in manual mode? often the shutter speed is set incorrectly and hense any movement of the camera blurs the pic...a steady hand is crutal. I never use a tripod (cumbersome) so its just learning how the camera behaves.

It's all learning how it works together, trying to find the best balance between aperature, shutter speed and iso for what you are trying to capture. I prefer to use ISO 100 as much as possible, digital pictures tend to bring out more grain than film, then depending on whether it's action or not set the shutter and aperature accordingly. When doing the cars I try to use a small aperature to get the whole vehicle in focus, but I never shoot below 1/60sec shutter speed without a tripod to minimize any chance of camera shake.

LoL, I'm sure that only about 3 people on the whole boards will get that, but the great thing about digital is that you can experiment, if a shot doesn't work you can just erase it!

P.S. That's a sweet camera the D10, wish I could afford that. I have my eye on the new Kodak DSCN14, hopefully they figure out their firmware problems and get their colour response and saturations set correctly. $5000 for 14mp Digital SLR, mmmm mmmm!!!

You and I will get along well, :P

I had my cam on 100ISO the whole show except for the moving highway shots wher I bumped it down to 50, closed aperature and increased shutter speed.

Yeah, I love takin pics. :)
Cheers

I can't figure out how to set the sutter speed....

Damn, my camera only runs up to 100ISO. My Nikon EM goes down to 25, but that's some expensive ass film!!
