I had 3 14.8's, 3 14.9's and 2 15.0's.
Fairly consistent and I was hoping that would get me into the eliminations, but I guess the cut off was 14.59 or so. Crazy! I will have to find a way to get me car faster before the next event. :) |

| Comming close to the sound bairrer with a 16.9 woo hoo :bigthumbup: Both my runs were 16.9 one at a .707rt and 1.01rt, strange. I need more track time and hope to be in the 15's by the end of the season with some more mods. Cheers |

Simple... we don't.
Drag radials will probably be a next purchase for me.
Best I could do so far on street tires is 2.19 60ft. That was last season but I don't expect it'll improve at all this year. |

Haha, I also just thought about it, I'm sure that your weak ass rear springs are contributing to the traction problems also, when you get on the fun pedal your rear camber probably hits 6 degrees on the negative side. That's not going to help a shitload with traction, gotta keep that tire planted!

dude, if your clutch is almost done, then have some fun with whats left!! its better to learn skillz on an old and beat clutch rather than on a brand new one...
and trust me man, skillz come from practice and watching other ppl with skillz. just remember to focus on "kicking" the clutch as fast u can while shifting. |

haha ya I treed ya! :D . Near the end of the 1/4 I looked back and saw you right on my ass and I was just like ohhhhhhh shit. Ya my car launches hard cause of the good weight transfer. I was averaging about 2.072- 2.1 60' times so in all my races everyone just played catchup... :bigthumbup:
thats just funny tho how you remembered me from last weekend, I thought it might have been the same car but it seemed like you were missing a muffler on sunday and you werent last weekend. :D its all in fun! Im gonna turn up the boost this week. I was hoping to have my profec b in before the SCC but I was just too busy. |

| I removed the muffler after my first 4 runs to see if it was stifling power. Not at all, and quiet as stock. I'll have to look at problems on the intake side. My best 60 foots were in the 2.2s. I wish I had 2.0s then I'd have 13s. I remembered you and your friend's type R. Now I know why I blew him away. His quarter mile says it all. |

Ya you walked me that day too, but my BOV was fuct and leaking boost so I wasnt seeing my peak boost. Even so you would probably pull anyways under normal circumstances, my car is deadly from a stop cause I can lauch hard but from a roll its so-so... oh well Im just waiting for all my parts and shit to come in and then ill see what that does for me. :) |

I was for a bit and I was pulling pretty hard but then my radar detector started going nuts so I let off. I dont need another ticket! :D I dunno how fast you guys were going but I was no where near 190 thats for sure. |

Yes that was me you spoke to at the end of the first street legals. And I'll tell you what I have if you must know. I'm using a B16a that is pretty much bone stock. No turbo. Just intake and my super loud exhaust to go with it. :o
It's the truth this time...feel free to ask around if that is still shocking! B) I only wish I had a B18C or H22... :( |

sr20 is the stock 240sx motor... just the way it is... they dumbed down the cars for the north american market w/ "truck" motors because they didn't think we could handle them or emissions or something :( 3 rotor cosmos, I still think the 3 rotor is a swapped engine even in Japan, although I've fallen from the rotor game so I'm not 100% sure on that.
Srburg13 and 1mns13 just restored their cars to stock and put the motor they should have been imported with in em :) They did us nissan guys proud!
I thought it was an enjoyable event overal and everyone made some good passes. |

My best time was from last year 14.2@105MPH so I know the car is capable of more.
This year I have/am upgrading the suspension and doing a few tweaks here and there in hopes of busting into the 13's. |

Hehe, yeah. Jared is completely stock besides the upage in boost to about 12psi. Only difference on mine is the front mount intercooler and also 12-13 psi. So technically we aren't "stock". In some minds it is stock (the engine that is), and in others we did a swap. It really doesn't matter, we are all out to have some kicks. |

Sr20det came in most if not all of the j-spec 240's = s13, s14, s15.... I believe some also came with a ca18det (I think that's the right engine code). Nissan Japan just cheaped out and put the KA24 series "truck" motor in our cars for no good reason (unless it was due to some bureaucratic decision at that time from our useless gov't).

Yea but the vette is probably setup for the track, its like saying my 500hp truck is going to anihilate everyone on the track-not gonna happen, i meant stock suspension fairly fast 240 vs the field or well setup(and prob slower)autox cars...
My setup for namao, koni yellows, ground controls 400/450, strut bars, should hook up good..

sorry for corecting you on the sr20 thing .and yes it was avalible in all of the s chasis. but never in the 240here . c18det was in the 89-90 silvia. and the pulsar in japan and austraillia.
