I'd check this link out and then order online.

The cliffnotes are that Dynamat is overrated/overpriced and there's some more cost effective choices out there.

fat mat is the best stuff in my opinion. If you are dong the whole car then use roofing tar on major areas (floor etc) then fat mat or dynamat where more an easier to use material is needed.

i think i'm only going to do the trunk.. for my subs. maybe the hood..
is it removable? like, if i buy a CF hood, do i have to buy a new liner?

I just picked up some dynamat for the car. I purchased the trunk kit. usually costs 199.99 for the trunk kit and 99.99 for the door kit. I have a friend that works at best buy so it only came out to half price. what im wondering is the stuff that you guys have mentioned is it cheaper than the staff discount? and how much is the other stuff? and where can i get it

Realistic
im a lil more concerned if you can get it for me for half price.

If you guys want a cheap solution, than check out flee bay as there are many deals on there for this stuff in bulk rolls, which is realisticlly what you need to do a car/trunk properly. In my opinion the real advantages of this stuff is only enjoyed by people who do multiple layers. Problem is that since it weights so much I would never bother in a car that I was trying to make fast, if you dont car though then do 2 to 3 layers in the trunk. Also if you have plastic panels in the back, remove them, tape off the fronts then spray the entire back with a couple coats of ruberized undercoating from Canadian Tire, that stuff does wonders.

Seriously go to Northland construction and get Grace Ice and water shield. 225sq/ft for $120. Exact same as dynamat.

Grace Ultra is the exact same as dynamat extreme if you want a buytl base mat instead of asphalt.

stuff works great, shipping is cheap. don't waste money on dynamat, this stuff is fricken awesome.
