Hey guys me and my gal always fight over stupid little things. it is usually my fault because i always bring it up,,,, but it is kinda a downer. any suggestions?

Almost
don't bring it up?

sorry seemed like an obvious one.

Other than that maybe stop fighting, and think about what you're arguing about and if it's really worth fighting over....

would'nt you rather be doing something else..... ya know what I mean... :)

......like working on your car.

dont think its always your fault...cuz it usually isnt ALWAYS your fault

i've come to realize that the little fights people have are an important part of a developing relationship, they help o set the moral boundaries of what is acceptable and what is not in any relationship. every relationship will have its ups and downs, but you learn by trial and error, but look on the bright side of things. look at what u guys fight about, and figure out what it is that you are finding hard to accept, and set rules/parameters around that area.

PICK YOUR FIGHTS DUDE

dont sweat the little things, its not worth it...
i have been married for two years and belive me this is very important

I've never been married, but I've held relationships for a while, and I learned this:
In a fight, be sure to bring out your opinion, but listen to hers. Don't define who's right or wrong during the fight (wait till you make up) and don't fight about the same thing too often.. once or twice is ok, but if you argue about the same thing evey fight, it might be time to move on...
Oh, and if you ever are in an argument, don't bring up old bagage, deal with the situation, sort it out, talk a walk and cool down, then discuss it... usually works.. ;)

just my 2bits

I've been married for 18 years (god, has it been THAT long?) In all that time, we've had big fights and we've had little fights. And we've always come thru it stronger on the other side.

And do you know why? Because of a wedding card my best man gave to me on my wedding day.

The outside of the card said "Congratulations on getting married! It won't always be smooth sailing. You will go through bad times, and argue and fight. And when things get to be their worst, you must always remember those 3 little magical words".

And on the inside, it says "You're RIGHT, Dear!" :P

WELL,,, the first thing your doing wrong is admitting that its your fault... ITS NEVER YOUR FAULT... even if it is, find some way of turning it around on her... that always works

Sometimes it's worth fighting over, but right now, all I can say to you is "You're RIGHT, Dear!"

Don't take abuse. You may love her but if she treats you badly or insists on arguing over the same stuff again, just walk away. Your time is too important to waste being someone's punching bag. A few times and she will learn it's not ok.
