Rain or shine?

Count me in. We'll see what these stock wheels/tires can do.

If I can walkup and pay, that would be grand.

Zuffy
Walkups and cash is fine. Just make sure you arrive early so we can get all your info entered into the timing system. Oh, yes rain or shine. The AWD crowd tends to prefer rain. :)

No prob.

Rain could be a blast.

Any idea how tight the track is? Since I'm a retard and bought this big, wide car?

You're not allowed to complain about car size until you can beat the Chevelle. :D

If you're referring to top speeds, yes the courses can be a little on the tight side at Griesbach... it's just not that big of a space.

I've been trying avoid excessively narrow gates/turns in my course designs for the most part lately... (but you will have the steering wheel turned a lot of the time).

Ethanol
Dont worry about big and wide, you can probably beat my taurus wagon :p

You'll love it Ryan. I went last weekend. It's just a 40 second course (well for you, maybe a minute six) but it's a hell of a good time.

If my Azenis come in soon enough, I'm in. I tore up my ToyoT1Rs and decided they are inferior, and will not autocross with them again (since I have to give them back, they were a 1 month free trial, and I have to return them with at least some tread)!

That was just the school and test and tune course. For our standard course we tend to make them longer (~60 seconds.) See you at the next event!

It would be great to see a bunch of new guys come out.

I’m not an ASA or ASN affiliated member, but I just want to come down and try to get on the track and do a couple of runs, if I bring 25 cash at like around 4pm or something, that’s when I get off work, can I get some laps on and have them timed??? I would like to meet some of the people that are in auto-x because I love to do it my self; my car is all set up for it, but I can’t make a commitment due to work, so I can’t make all of the events.

Sorry,
You don't have to be a member (hence the non-member pricing), but you have to be there in the morning when tech and registration are open and for the driver's meeting. By 4 o'clock, we're almost done.

do u need a license or soemthing to do these autocross`s.
Or do u just sign up and show up?

Zuffy
You'll need a valid driver's licence and your car in good mechanical condition. If you have more questions feel free to ask, or check out mrheavyfoot.com for the club forum.
