| Make sure to check out RAINBOW CAR WASH on Fort Road and Yellowhead just before the Huges on the left hand side. That place rocks with goooodies for your car, I did my whole car ( shampoo inside, vaccum, wash, rinse, turtlewax coating, rinse and spot free rinse ) for $10-$12. I highly recommend this place, now I'm there once a week!  |

That place is pretty damn high tech for a simpple car wash joint. It's got eveything and their foam brush is oh so gentle for the paint.
However, I'm too cheap to pay that much for the goods, I still go to Hughes to wash my car and I get away for either 3-4 bucks in the winter. In the summer, it's washed by hand in the driveway. |

I'm skeptical about places that wash cars with brushes
how do you know they aren't re-using a dirty brush with dirt in it that could scratch up your paint??? |

| Hey Reflux, the soap and rinse guns are powerful enough to get all that grim off plus I never use the foam brushes anywhere because of that theory. It's like that chip ad with Messier, bet you can't just go once!! |

you guys know that you can use the spray gun to blow the foam brush clean.. thats what I do...
And personally I think that the crazy horse stripper car was for charity is better.. ya they might not do the best job.. but its great sitting there watching them bend over your car in there attempt to get it clean.. Plus your supporting some good cause supposidly  |

| For the west end guys, check out Zee's Car Wash on 163 and 107th ave. The pre-soak setting is second to none, road film is gone. No need to put a sponge to the car 80% of the time. |

| I like the coin-op car wash Hughs on 167ave and 96th street on the north side, roughly 2.25 minutes to 2.50 (I can't remember which it is) washing time per loonie. |

There is a couple of good ones in Sherwood Park
the jumbo car wash is decent, you don't need loonies you pay by the amount of time that you are in there
and the hughes out there is huge they got like 12 bays in the one building and another 8 in the new section that they just built. |

Z3r03rr0r, you're from the 'Park also? I always go to hughes, because you can use a loonie, vaccum, and then putz around and clean out the car inbetween loonies
plus I got a friend that works there :) |

i agree with this one. i live north and i'd go outta my way to go here. you don't need to put a sponge on 'cause their rinse is pretty powerful. i gotta use two hands [jeah..i'm a weakling] or i'll lose my arm =) and pre-soak is awesome!
highly reccommended! |

I hold the foam brush over my paint with one hand (letting the foam just fall on my paint) and i use a clean microfiber cloth to scrub it into my paint. Works for me. |

The brushes themselves are too coarse. I used to manage a huge carwash outside of Edmonton, YOU DO NOT WANT TO USE A BRUSH ON YOUR CAR. The rubber tires maybe.
Swirl marks are the result of even the cleanest foam brush at a car wash. |

co-insidentally Thats what I use'em on.. :D works well on windows too and on the underside of your hood, Wheel wells, etc
:werd: to Zee's.. Rarely a line up, Its pretty clean in there, and their soap smells nice.. B)
What kind of wax do they put in their tanks? Im suprised it works aswell as it does.. Zee's kinda smells like "black magic's" wax.. im not quite sure tho.
