Which springs to go with? - Click HERE for Original Thread

bono
O.k I drive 02 Spec V and I use my car for buisness everyday, I'm wondering if anybody could recomend some good comfortable springs for me. I've already had H&R's in my old 240sx and that was a much rougher ride. The Eibach sportline I'm hearing from my parts guy in Calgary said it's about a 1.4inch drop on the front and a 1.3inch drop on the back. He also said that the ride was much softer than original stock springs. My other guy here in Edmonton said that the Prokit was made for vehicles for softer ride and had a 1.2inch drop in the front and a 1inch drop in the back. Well I told him I'm not spending that amount of cash for that little drop!

Any help? or pictures B)

Pro Drag
The Eibach Pro-Kit is a more conservative drop with better handling characteristic's in mind.
The Sportline's offer a more aggressive drop while retaining factory ride characteristic's.

Don't automatically go for the most radical drop, especially on a new car like that. Keep in mind that we live in Alberta, NOT CALIFORNIA where all the roads are smooth. AND FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING SACRED, DO NOT GET YOUR STUFF INSTALLED AT CANADIAN TIRE, PICTURE'S TO BE POSTED SHORTLY.

What Blaine said :)

The SPec V springs are already pretty stiff, anything aftermarket SHOULD be stiffer, after all, why are you buying them right? :)

Maybe you need Sentra SE springs and struts?

The drop is the second thing you are looking for. Use the spring rates first.

Hey Spec V Ryder I need to know if the ride is good ( comfortable, not too rough ) and if you have any pics at all. Thanks

I have INTRAX springs on my car. The drop is rated at half an inch more than the Eibachs. The car rides pretty good, im happy with the Intrax springs. They were quite a bit cheaper than Eibach's
