I remember when The Forza Motorsports Challange show was supposed to be on AFTER the game came out :P

EB games (if you go in and ask) says the 16th, but in the actual Forza 2 site, and Best Buy it says the 29th.
It's coming out in the 29th. Which is okay considering how long GT4 was delayed and how long GT5 is likely to be delayed. Don't even start me on GT for the PSP.
Forza 2 looks great, it sounds incredible, and the developers are motor sport fans, check out the blogs on the homepage.
My only problem is that my G25 steering wheel won't work, and from what I hear the MS 360 wheel sucks. |

yeah, me no likey the microsoft wheel either... other then that it's wireless.
That being said, i tried the demo.
Handleing "feel's" much better then first one, and i like the dyniamc brake only race line... good way to learn a course quickly, but damn, i'm sorry, the graphics just don't do it for me.
For anyone that's tried the GT HD demo on PS3, you'll notice a distinct lack of detail and photo-realism in Forza2. For lack of a better description, it still looks like a video game :P
Regardless, you're right, since GT5 prolly won't see the light of day 'til late 2008 (if we're lucky), this will more then suffice until then.
The Online stuff they have planned will more then make up for it, thats for sure. Xbox Live! ftw! |

Just download the demo I really enjoyed the game.... damn this realism! Don't they know I can't actually drive!
Anyways! yeah, the graphics to me look great, I haven't tried the GT HD demo yet but I've never been big on graphics... unless its a real night and day difference.
I haven't really kept up with the news on GT HD, but does anyone know if they still want us to actually pay for cars in GT HD? |

I kinda miss adjustable Driving aids...
Tunable Traction control would be HANDY...
i'm still not sure about this game... yet.
The full version will need to pick it up for me.
PS. Anyone else who is familiar Mugello (the course in the demo) take the back S corner wrong and slam into the wall, because they are so used to the full course from MotoGP? :P |

| graphics need a bit of updating. there better, just not great. however engine sounds are perfect. great aspect. tunable aids would be sweet too. |

Man I'm addicted to this game. Got my new 360 a week ago which came with Forza 2, started playing it yesterday after I mastered Halo 3 and wow... this game is awesome.
I really sucked at frst because I didn't realize the driving physics would be so realistic.
This game has me wanting to mod my GTR like crazy.
I went from a 2nd gen RX-7 which I had modded nicely and then switched to an EVO. Makes you realize how much easier a 4wd car is to drive, especially exiting a corner.
I need to buy a steering wheel for the x-box. Hard to make the long sweeping corners smoothly with the regular controller.
Best racing game I've played yet. |
