Well I got rid of my beater first bike just over a month ago, and I've been looking for the right bike.
Finally found what I was looking for yesterday, a black '05 Honda 600RR, garage kept and mint shape, not beaten on.
Its all stock except for the exhaust (Akropovic pipe on it, sounds sweet), fender eliminator and signals.
Going to leave it that way for the most part, except for a few things, planning to get a Scott's or GPR steering damper because are roads are shitty and cause headshake / tankslappers if you go over something the wrong way, a power commander because I can tell from the carbon on the tailpipe its running a bit rich, and maybe a few other small cosmetic changes, but I like it the way it is.
Anyway, here are a couple pics from when I brough it home and gave it a quick detailing:
Couldn't make it out this weekend, because I have to wait til monday when my broker is open so I can get my insurance switched over to the new bike, but I'll probably bring it out on friday. |
