WTT: 1.5cuft sealed box for 1cuft sealed - Click HERE for Original Thread

I have a rectangular box now that is 1.5 cuft. 3/4 MDF no carpeting. Just a box. It hides behind a trim board.(inside dimensions 25"x8.5"x12")

Need something that is close to 1.0 cuft interior displacement but has to be around 10 inches deep TOTAL from mounting surface to back of box and no taller that 14 inches.

lol! i know its a long shot but its worth a try before i commission someone to build me an entirely new box.

I will take even one of those generic boxes as long as the sub mounting face is perpendicular to the ground... ie/ sub sits straight up and down and not at an angle.

If you can't find one I MAYBE have something that will work for you. The mounting depth for the sub is a maximum of 5.5" and total box height is about 6". The box fits a 10" sub and fires straight up. I'm looking at about $200 with a JBL sub or $100 for the box. If you want to see it or are just plain curious I can show you it. Or, if you give up in the long run and come to "a last resort" sort of thing then let me know.

Hey thanks for the response. i have a Image Dynamics 12DVC 2 ohm sub im using thats why im being so specific on the box.

did you mean 16 inches box height? or am i reading that wrong. Anyways i would have tp modify it to fit a 12 for it to work.

Maybe i should just get a new one built but i dont know anyone in edmonton capable.

Otherwise, you could talk to Larry at Power and Ground A buddy of mine just had his box made by him for a good price.
