paint job?? - Click HERE for Original Thread

bluciv93
has anyone had Ron a desros paint their car, and is he any good?

limecorrado
His work is ok, certainly worth the $100 -200 he charges to do the paint.

The 2 cars i saw he did both had paint runs but overall looked a lot better than they would have if the owner painted them.

$200 dollars for a paint job? are you serious... Thats one cheap paint job

gfk.
200 dollars also has runs in the paint.

You pay for the stall (around $100), the paint ($50-100), You do all the body work and prep (10-20? Hours) and he'll splash the paint on the car for $100-200. So it's not anywhere near a $200 paint job.

And you still have a paint job with drips in it.

if you are already doing all that work, might as well paint the car your self and not let runs happen.

And you think someone who's never painted a car won't get runs in the paint/clear?

gfk.
depends. i'm sure you dont need to go to school to be decent at it, and running out and paintiting your car wont help you either. but with time and effort i think you can paint your own car just fine
